Firefox blocks my background music

yeah, I have no idea why but it does...but only mine because I've been to other people's page where they have BG music and it plays it fine...I have tried MP3, WAV, even WMA with 2 different hosts (yahoo and Lycos), but no matter what I do firefox does not play it, I tried my page in IE and it worked fine...any suggestions?
