"Ouch!"

I was thinking about this after watchin some Kenshin on DVD. What truly is better: Manga or Anime? I like anime in the way that you see the action, like Kenshin. I like manga because it has a lot of things you wouldn't normally see on american TV.

I don't know... sometimes the anime is much more worse than the manga. But that's rare... I'm reading Naruto manga and watching the anime too, but I like both ^^ the actions/fighting scenes are more hmmm... 'imaginable' hehe... so it's nicer in that view. But there are other mangas/animes which are more emotional... ok, I can't decide ( as always ^_^' ) so I would say both is good!!! :D

Its something difficult to decide because some manga are good for an Anime and viceversa but often we see some trash...anyway...surely both of them are good and important to read/watch.....

I read Rave Master and I was very disappointed. I thought it was going to be good. I liked the show. The Yu Yu Hakusho manga is better than the show because Yusuke is much more of a pervert.

Yeah, your right about watching Kenshin On DVD for better quality, but like you said...

I like manga more then anime most of the time because the characters and story line seem better to me and usually there is more humor. :))

Manga has more humor in some ways, but anime's expressions make it funny, too

for me it depends on what type of show it is like if it has alot of fighting id rather whatch the anime to actually see the fight scenes but when its jus a comedy story manga would probably be better since they dont cut anything from it like they do in anime and the art is usually better :\

I like both really, but there are some that are entirely different.I'm not sure if you've heard of Wolves Rain but my friend said that the manga and anime are entirely different..but there are things you get in the manga that you won't get elsewhere. :-)

Go to the battlefield firmly confident of victory, and you will come home with no wounds whatever. Engage in combat fully determined to die and you will be alive; wish to survive in the battle and you will surely meet death. When you leave the house determined not to see it again you will come home safely; when you have any thought of returning you will not return. You may not be in the wrong to think that the world is always subject to change, but the warrior must not entertain this way of thinking, for his fate is always determined.

Manga has more detail, but Anime helps you understand the plot better (usually). I might have to choose one because of the prices.

I know that in Evangelion, they take out a lot of stuff in the anime, so I know you have to read the manga for everything. What others should be read to get the best stuff?

It depends... take Ichigo 100% for example. The TV Series sucked. The manga is way better than that. So I'd read the manga if I ever come across those type of animes.
