Here we go again!! AKFG are famous for a lot of hit songs from animes such as FMA and Naruto. The Pillows are most known for the ending theme to FLCL "ride on shooting star". Larc~en~Ciel are the veterans, making songs for more that 5 anime. Also responsible for having one of the hottest lead singers ever!! So which band do you like the most?

It's difficult for me to choose between AKFG and The Pillows. I loved the FLCL music and I bought both the OSTs because of it. However, I am listening to a lot of AKFG at the moment and 'Haruka Kanata' is one of my favourite songs ever, so I will choose them ^^ .

Laruku!!! My favourite J-rock band. They've released a lot of great songs, my favourite being The Fourth Avenue Cafe(oh, yeah, I think Hyde's hot too ;) ). I've heard AKFG's Rewrite and A couple of songs by The Pillows, and I have to say I think they're pretty good as well.

Aw man....that's a seriously tough decision...I'm a fan of all of them...I've heard nearly all of AKFG and Pillow's music. Love it all!! I haven't heard as much of Laruku...but what I've heard of them I really like!! ^^ J-Rock music is the best! AKFG.....would probably be my favorite...I'm a huge fan...and The Pillows too....big fan. ^^ But...with akfg, The Pillows, Laruku, Cool Joke, Porno Graffiti, and so many more awesome artists out there...how can you choose?? ^^

I wanted to vote The Pillows...but there was no Pillows on the poll >.<
akfg is really great, but The Pillows have this extra touch that make them unique and special. L'arc en Ciel is lighter rock than both of them but also great.
Although not exactly rock, you should check out Spitz. Really beautiful music!

akfg!!! Ok, haven't been listening to that many songs by the Pillows, but some of the songs i did listen to were kinda weird (though i do like Last Dinosaur). And.. eh... Laruku? Haven't heard any other song than the one that was in FMA.
Would love it if anyone would recommend me some of the best songs by The Pillows and Laruku :) Always in search of new good music!

wheeee L'arc~en~Ciel definitely! No one surpasses the mightiness that is Hyde. I bought the CD Smile and it has my Ready Steady Go on it man... I love that song. I love the band. loooooooooooooooooooooooooooove! XD

i have to say L'Arc~en~Ciel.........although Asian Kung Fu Gen are really good and they sing some of the best songs for naruto i have to say L'Arc are still my favourite........especially the amazingly crazy guitar tunes!!!!

AKFG looks like a backyard / garage band, but that doesn't matter since their music is good. I like lots of L'arc's songs, but not all of them because I'm not into slow stuff. Between the Pillows and akfg, I like AKFG more because it's faster and more upbeat to me. In terms of appearance, L'arc wins hands down.

i think they're all awesome even if i just know only a few song of Laruku.
But i 'd listened a lot of album from AKFG and the pillows, and my feelings
goes mostly to the pillows who for me is a really special band .
I can't tell why i prefer them althought i really like the the two others
even they are known a lot for them work on FLCL all album i found was excellent (not easy to found so)
Maybe because they often suprised me in there style of music and songs but i m fond of this band
Hum well,... I hope you understand what i m trying to say and it's sad that i can't vote for the pillows
