Why not put up an MP3 Rotation page in MT?

page 1 of 1 14 total items

i just thought of the idea...
y not MT put up a page of MP3 rotation that can be downloaded by members..
then we can have different songs for lets say... every week...
it can be songs from anime or games or just the currently popular songs..
2 or 3 per week is good enuff...
and maybe members can request some songs..

haha.. just thinking.. ^_^'

Good ideal also, we may share our favourite music with other forumers. Thing is, how to do ?

There are other sites that do this sort of thing. I don't believe a site solely based on an art community will convert into a partial music community for leeching as well. Besides, the bandwidth will literally rip the site right off. You wouldn't wish to have a very slow server connection speed, would you?

That's what individual sites and torrents are for. The suggestion is off key, in my opinion.

Like Celessa said, for one, it would destroy Minitokyo's bandwidth. For another...the music in question would almost certainly be illegal, which is against Minitokyo's TOS.

its just an idea...

if its slow down the page load.. i better not have it..

i like the current MT..

Left this part of the universe.

So, who's gonna provide those extra bandwidth? Anyone?

What can be done is using Winamp's shoutcast radio functions to have an official streaming Minitokyo output run by volunteer 'DJs'. It wouldn't put any strain on the site itself.

A) Bandwidth.

B) Legality.

That pretty much covers it.

agree...i've seen couples of sites being sued for providing mp3 downloads....
so i would say no....if you want to hear music..go to buy them....(Artist need them to make a living..plus after all their hardwork making music for us )...so continue to support them like supporting MT ......^_^
