I haven't watched Naruto so I really don't have anything agaisnt it or for it but I really don't have a character thats dumb except for some of the main girl characters that always have to be saved for every little freakin thing like Kagome, Miaka, Sailor Moon, and others I guess!

Naruto is a bit of a moron at times... but then again that's just for comedy value :) he's grown a lot since the beginning
i think the main character in Evangelion (that whiney little brat) was the dumbest main character coz he really annoyed me to the point that i would shout at my pc screen >.<

I think the dumbest main character is Excel fron Excel saga......
When she talks you can't understand well from her speech because of the speed..
And she is always feeling dizzy and tired and she doesn't know what's going on this world...
However, on the other hand, she is fun and enjoyable..... :) :D :) :D

I only find the live action sailor moon to be stupid like the power rangers. The anime was never good, but I can find stupider anime characters.
Like DBZ. and Pokemon, and Digimon, and Yugioh, and Beyblade. Ewwwww. Would never EVER get anywhere near these products of idiocy.

I will say that probably Goku takes the dumbest main character for the few times that I saw the kid in a man's body. He is powerful, but he is also naive and downright stupid at times.
