Everyone else notice the unusual amount of ecchi scans lately?? T_T Not hard to miss...
I'm pretty much fed up with it...ecchi scans are adding to the duplicate problem lately too!
I'd like to know others feelings on this. Ecchi is getting far out of hand...and I'll spare others my opinions
so I don't go off on a tangent.

Nicely said, Takeshi1589. I feel compelled to agree with you on this one...there are getting to be more and more ecchi scans out there...and I don't like that kind of thing. ~_~ To each their own, I suppose, but I really don't want to see that kind of thing around here...it's kind of sad, in my opinion, but there's nothing that I can really do about it. But, like you, I won't go off on any sort of tangent.

Come to think of it, there are a lot of ecchi scans coming in. I guess that some people just won't resist getting credit when they don't really deserve it, as the scans are not originally from them. I will keep it at that.

yuppers, you got it. The problem is that the ecchi is the most popular.Therefore, it will proliferate out of control until enough people get tired of it .

I don't think so...as long as there are members, ecchi will be kept alive. OXI've noticed it too, the amount of ecchi that's been coming in. I always see at least one whenever I'm browsing the front page. It's really getting annoying and I don't see why people like to submit this kind of stuff, but ecchi scans gain favs like crazy, maybe it's some kind of scheme to gain levels... :hmpf:

Yeah... there was a time when I saw it on the front page and it's like @.@ YIKES!
It's cuz there are many young ppl using the site, but then there are many like other people as well... you can't accommodate for all... but it does anger me somewhat though >.<
And in the Minitokyo policy... what do they exactly mean by pornographic images? I've come across pretty bad ones and they don't get deleted *humph*

I guess there'll always be ecchi scans around, but I wish they would be isolated at least, so you won't ever see ecchi unless you search for it. My lil' brother was watching me as I browsed a while back and I came across an ecchi piece...yikes...I practically slapped my hand over his eyes...

Well, as a regular member and not as a moderator, I would like to pitch in some supportive words here also.
Unfortunately, as much as ecchi scans are pretty popular on MT, I actually prefer images that can be wallable rather than images that are just used simply for suitable pleasure. It's very interesting sometimes how far ecchi can go, and concerning there are children who do see these scans from place to place, I'm sure there are parental issues being regarded here as well.
Of course, my stand is obviously against ecchi as you can see from my administration from the Anti-Ecchi-Group, supported by Shinsengumi as well, but I'm more of a fence-sitter in the overall picture. Truly, the more important part for me is quality - if we let bad-quality scans get through, then more and more members will deem this as acceptable and go from there.
It's really unnecessary to be posting something as terrible like that and let people start getting away with it. Perhaps new members need to read the lines on how to submit quality scans more carefully in the support pages / sticky threads / etc. - because when these get deleted as a whole, who knows what more complaints might appear on the forums someday in the distant future.
The cycle just goes on and on.

What do we get when we combine the Ecchi outbreak with Multiple versions of basically the same submission. Maybe wasted space? I'm nearly at the breaking point with a particular member of MT (whom I've decided to keep anonymous, so I can try to remain as objective about the topic at hand, Takeshi knows who I'm referring to).
One image the subject has posted a white bikini, and other an orange bikini, colored with the bucket tool, not a different type of thing.... and now makes nearly nudes and adds.... hearts over objectionables? (Personally I think a ribbon would work better and be more artistic, but oh well). I would say, submit one image, but load all versions on a separate, personal website.
It's not as if they could publish an adult only sub-website of MT anyways.

that is true, it seems like there are more ecchi submissions than there where before...
people are probably running out of ideas or they really want to go up Lv's quickly...

Yes ecchi is getting out of control in MT.
Every page i few on the gallery page will at least contain 2 ecchi wall or some sort.
Is people really that desperate on lvling up?plz comment on my forum aswell about ecchi being the last resort.
