Okay, I just have to ask this. From Fruits Basket, since the manga's been released in the US now, which do you prefer: The anime or the manga. Personally, I prefer the manga, because I thought the anime ended too soon. There's so much more to the story and they didn't introduce all of the zodiac. The anime was good, just too short.

I never really read the manga of Furuba, but I did see the entire series of Furuba. It's so funny hahah XD Yeah I thought the anime was pretty short ^_^;; but I haven't read a page of the manga yet, so I'm guessing I can't vote ;__;

I have seen the anime and I agree, I prefer the manga! I can't wait until all 14 (?) come out! :D

The manga is WAY WAY better! Oh...there are 16 mangas ^_^ But...the 14th one won't come out until sometime aruond Apirl 2006 @_@ That is a LONG time AWAY!! ><

the manga all the way! i wish the anime had followed the manga more closely, because i really liked some of the "filler" stories! (and we didn't get to meet rin or kureno in the anime! >=( )

hmmm...well i realli like both da manga and da anime series!!! they r both soooo good!! but i agree dat da anime ended way 2 soon without explaining enuf and the ending wasnt realli good. ive only read up tp chapter 50 sumthing but i found it was good in the way that it explained more and had more characters and stories. yeh, i also agree dat the anime didnt follow da manga close enouf. rin and kureno were good interesting characters dat da anime should hav included.

I like the anime, it is very good... but overall I like the manga a lot better. I mean they could have at least kept Kureno and Rin in the anime, but they didn't.
Also the ending wasn't right, and because they really messed up things they won't really be able to pull off another season. It stinks.

The manga is much better! The anime is too Yuki/Tohru oriented and they messed up Kyos transformation story with putting Akito and Yuki in it.

Definitely the manga. It's way longer than the anime and much more detailed. Plus there're more characters.

i prefer the manga b/c there's some filler that you don't see in the anime that are funnier... (ie: the swimsuit story... that was a funny one!)
