Quote by SharinganKnight]the CIA runs this country, they picked him as president and made him do what no one else would.

Sorry if I'm stepping on toes, but this only goes to show how grossly misinformed the majority of Bush-bashers are concerning this president. In 2000, Bush was elected via the Electoral College. However, in 2004, Bush received the majority of popular vote (being a wartime president, you have to understand Kerry received the lot of the vote based on anti-war sentiment and not his policies), yet the liberal side of things attempted pushing Ohio over the barrel so Kerry would be elected through electoral votes, not popular vote. It's quite funny how karma comes around and attacks you.

The last I checked, Bush's policies in Iraq are taking hold. The media is a known slant to the liberal left -- and if you don't believe it, continue watching the Hurricane coverage and notice how much Bush "and his administration" is mentioned to be at fault yet there's rarely a mention of local or state government (governor of Louisiana and mayor of New Orleans) in finger pointing for blame. Local and state government, in the case you were not aware, are the two government bodies that should have been prepared in the event of this hurricane that people have been warning them about for decades.

If you listen to the lot of the Bush bashers bash Bush, you'll think the country only began at his presidency -- as if there was never a natural disaster before, as if there never was a war before.. as if Bush was the reason we were attacked on 9/11, Bush was the reason there was a hurricane, Bush was the reason for basically everything coming into being. Please do some research and don't wait for your TV to tell you everything. The media does have a bias, as do college professors, high school teachers, and elementary teachers.

i personally believe the beheading of Nick Berg, I believe that was his name, needs to be watched more often in school classrooms so the lot of upcoming children know what hatred in the world is actually about. Which follows me up to the next point:

The United States has always been hated to some degree. However, if you look at the current polls being taken in various countries, the US is improving dramatically in it's "image" as we are staying the course, as we always have, in the magnificent portion of this continent we Americans call our country.

Let's not forget what the Commander in Chief has done for me, personally - gave me a good war to fight. I don't think you're supposed to have this much fun in a warzone.
Here's to our President - if only he were a little more imperialistic, then we could call Iraq and Afganistan the 51st and 52nd states.

It's amazing how many people are taking this Valarie Plame hoax so serious. All the hard evidence points to it being basically a scam being perpetrated by people with a political bone to pick with the administration and the newsmedia.

I'm not going to lie to you but I don't like Bush at all really (I don't hate him like before) I think poeple should cut him some slack though. The one thing I'm sure about Bush is that he has the worst luck as for being president in his time lol I mean come on... look at all the stuff that happens during his time. I believe Bush is trying to do what's best for the country regardless if other country will suffer. And that's the one good thing I can think of about Bush. He does it all for us and what he thinks (he thinks) is best for this country.

I'd rather be hated for who I am rather than loved for who I pretend to be...

Criticizing the Bush administration anymore is basically just equivalent to throwing dirt on dirt. It's proven itself to be obviously corrupt, unconcerned about the American people, and unconcerned with repercussions relating to it's illegal wars overseas and growing domestic problems here at home. I've argued about the fact that we have a mass of fascists and killers running this government, some have agreed, others have not agreed despite the fact that I provided outright comparisons and evidence about the subject, although the man has done very little for us as a whole.

Forget the terrorists and the universal adversaries and the omnipresent threat that laces his rhetoric and about how we must fight for those whom he conspired to murder in the 9-11 "attacks". I just want my damned America back rather than this half-assed Orwellian police state to be knockoff. Bush in the end should be remembered as an oil man, and a war criminal; and nothing more.

"And Saint Attila raised the hand grenade up on high, saying, "O Lord, bless this thy hand grenade, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy." And the Lord did grin. And the people did feast upon the lambs and sloths, and carp and anchovies, and orangutans and breakfast cereals, and fruit-bats and large chu..."

i don't think is a good president but he not a bad one either. my thinking is that, if I cannot do anything that help, then may be i need to have hope in the one that can. In this case, Bush. Do you think if the president was somebody else than Bush, then 9/11 wouldn't happen? and the war in Iraq wouldn't happen? Remember that 99% of congress and the house voted "yes" on the war. it's was the people who choose to war. Then what? The media show dead and injured people and everyone changed theire my"oh, maybe we can't win this war, may be we should pull back" Dude, tell me one war that there's no one died.
I don't believe in complainations, it's help no one, solve no problem. Many thing that he's doing right now might seem bad, And the media is making it sounds even worse. Bush die? would it make any different? Would the new prsident pull every soldier back? Would the oild price go down? Would he stop students from skipping school and learn nothing in school? Would you willing to pay more tax to help the economic? nope i doubt so.
People, Calm down, Think before you say and don't believe every thing you see or heard on the TV. Half of that is exagerated

The amount of anti-Bush complaining in this thread is appalling.

I am invincible!

Ok,I'm a rigth-wing elector, I wished first that Bush was president, so I didn't have something against him before seing the results of his politics. But I don't hate him, just some part of his politics, so if like he said if I am not with him, well that makes me against him... even if it's really an oversimplification.

For the Terror thing, the Afghanistan was a correct move but Iraq wasn't (it hadn't any link with 09/11 even if most of the american believed it)... Except if the idea was giving terrorists a playground so there will be a little less going to bomb the States (quite unfair in my opinion)... in contrary, some specialists of terrorism say that Bush help AlQaeda to recruit more.

Ok... try to find some good things :

1 He hasn't pushed this button... so far...

2 he's a good president to have a laugh at if we aren't more in the mood of crying.

3 He can show that 1984 is a great book.

4 Thanks to him, my favourite quote is :

"He should be supported or opposed exactly to the degree which is warranted by his good conduct or bad conduct, his efficiency or inefficiency in rendering loyal, able and disinterested service to the nation as a whole.
"Therefore it is absolutely necessary that there should be full liberty to tell the truth about his acts, and this means that it is exactly necessary to blame him when he does wrong as to praise him when he does right. Any other attitude in an American citizen is both base and servile.
"To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public. Nothing but the truth should be spoken about him or anyone else. But it is even more important to tell the truth, pleasant or unpleasant, about him than about any one else."

T. Roosevelt

5 I have less and less hope for humanity... hey being realistic is a good thing.

6 It is a little consolation to the fact I can't travel because of the work. I really like spending some time to the States.

7 The following president would have to try really hard to be so unpopular worldwide.

8 Some people worldwide may think about what is the american dream.

9 I know some of "funny" facts about elections.

10 He shows well that people's values are really different (lying to bring his country to war is less important that hiding an affair... well I already knew that pornography or showing a breast is really more dangerous than having a weapon)

11 I know that some think that global warming is just a kind of hoax.
Knowing what other people think is interesting. Like how evolutionism is often teached in science classes. What other people learn is also interesting, especially when what they learn belongs more to the end of XIXeth century or beginning of XXth in the country where you live.

12 Game of who's wrong. So who is more wrong : the one who believes what he wants to believe or the one who believes someone ? I think that most of the democrats were mislead as well as the population... Well I don't think that even being a senator you can easily have access to some kind of reports... but maybe I'm wrong and anyone could have checked easily what was written instead of simply believing the leaders. I don't even know what we need leaders if we can't trust them to say at least the truth in important things... ok they may just show their POV but turning facts well in not-facts-but-presenting-them-like-facts

13 Game of appropriate word : an "occupation" becomes a "liberation", a "hired american security staffman" (or mercenary) become "an innocent civilian", a "Iraqi civilian" killed thanks to an american is, of course even if he's 10, a "terrorist", "torture" is forbidden to be used when speaking about an american making, "retrieval of infomation" is better, a "clean" killing is when used when a bomb kills precisely the people around 50 m - even if the target wasn't clearly a terrorist place - and it's "barbaric" to kill people with an axe, a "friendly fire" sounds more dangerous and better than "shooting and killing without knowing who is with us"...

lord....why have you forsaken our species by making a beast from your hands...one that spreads not love or hate but of stupidity and judgement without thinking twice.....
he is Bush....and the things he do is unforgiveble.
there is nothing good except to say that he is an imbecile (i am sorry for offending supporters but this is as true as it gets)

1. Katrina, he offered no help to the blacks, he even commented that they re doing a good job in saving them when they actually have done barely anything and people are dying quick and homeless...shows how an idiot he is for not keeping up to date with issues of his country, one that relies on him.

2. war of Iraq, a farce for all i care in order to get hold of the biggest oil reserves to monopolize the economy for their own as their extensive usage increases. they exploit others in order to gain more. that is called terrorism!

3. terrorist? yeah, i know they are there, you must fight them, but please, take care of your people first, when you can do that, you can fight terrorists, obviously he couldn't do that, and look at how far he took his war, people hate him. and she should be hated!

4. there is no justification for his sins against humanity, vested with the power and all and he does nothing to help, even during such disasters all he could do was to speak out his appreciation, tell him to go see those corpses, and those people who are waiting homeless, those who are in pain and agony, tell him to go see them, and for once, use his head and his hand!

i am one who does not support him no matter what, i think the superpower of the world has mistrusted their authority to the wrong person.
plus, his personal war against terrorism could only crumble the american economy as he spends more and more on that and yielding miniature results in blowing holes hoping for something or someone to comeout....

he is playing jackpot with his country's funds!
he is a racist, i have my thoughts on that too. the Katrina incident proved this in one way, and overall, there has been news that he resents all who are arabs and chinese.

that is all for my part. i hope my words aren't too harsh, i am one of those people who signed the petition for the aniti bush campaign

If he is so terrible then why did the people have to re-elect him? Are the masses completely stupid? I know I'd never vote for him especially since he does nothing to help stimulate growth in the country's economy. Why is America only run by rich people?

What should I put here?

When he was first elected, everyone I knew agreed that it was just a puppet government as it was obvious then that the guy was not fit to lead girl scouts even. But he was elected which makes me think that America has a lot of puppet voters as well. Everyone outside of the States just finds him embarrassing (and very, very, very dangerous). We don't have the same moral problems with Clinton as Americans (christians) do. I saw him as an intelligent leader and he had a million percent more charisma than Bush. I don't think any of the Western countries hate America ( That's the sole property of fanatical Muslims) but we do despair of America. Also, we all know now that America preaches one thing and lives the other ... and that's where the money really comes in.

But I'm quite sure there will be good images for him (you know like in Africa I don't remember when, there was this place where local people were kept somewhere to be sure nothing wrong would happen)... After all he's supposed to bring nice pictures to see how great he is at foreign places so every american will forget these unimportant Plamergate or Katrina... or maybe not since media tend a little more not to believe everything someone says.
