Are you a sociable person in real life? Just wondering since I'm not exactly what you would call sociable most of the times.

Sociable as in being a socialist? Depends.
You see, when I'm around with some of my closest friends, they tend to bring me out of the shell, sort of speaking, which tends to make me feel more comfortable because I'm surrounded by my circle of friends there, so I normally turn out to being a chatterbox, which can get a lot of people surprised about myself pretty much everywhere.
Normally, when I'm filled with a bunch of strangers, I normally blend in too well to hardly even get noticed, and I am one of the most shy, quiet type of people anyone will have ever met in your life.
Most likely, I do chat to the same people down by the coffee shop at the mall, so it's all good. Of course, I do give off a little random hello back to the person who greets me here and there, but normally rolling eyes and making yourself look bad in public tends to make you feel awful as well, so I most likely won't bother to do so. This is an odd one for me. See, I can be the type of guy that blends into any crowd and gets along with pretty much anyone without effort. People tell me that I have a natural magnetic personality yet I prefer to lay in the shadows most of the time. I suppose I'm social but when it suits me.

I can't judge for myself... but i can say that i'm some sort of hard rock... hold strong to my priciples, clear to black and white... if someone gonna do something negative to me... they better have a very good reason... >=(
And i don't think i'm welcome among others... but peoples always listen to me , ask me for decision and directions and i'm confident about leadership...

*looks around then whispers* Nope, nope! I'm not very sociable at all! ^_^' I talk too excessively when I'm with my siblings and close relations...but, truly, at school, I can only be spotted with a couple of friends, whom are quite close to me, but where a best friend is concerned, the spot has yet to be filled. -_-
Oh, well, I don't really care too much about being sociable... *puts on a fake smile* Seriously speaking, I'm trying to concentrate on my school work first, as it is more important, and besides, I'd rather not get caught up in mass-wondering-gossips, backstabbing/rumors spreading from the gurls, and guy problems, bla bla... >_<
So I guess in conclusion, it's all good for me, even though being sociable is not one of my positive points. :)

i guess in real i'm not that social. i have problems speaking to the opposite gender, meaning girls. lolz weird. hardly speak to girls in real maybe cos of low self esteem =D

Actually I'm not. I'm not into groups in school but it seems that no matter how hard I try to get away from my friends, they keep on following me and stick around me like glue. I'm a quiet person and have no interest in my schoolmates. I rather hang out here then there.

Well, that's very tru.. so tru, so tru. And well, for me, it's very hard to speak openly in front of other people that i ususally don't associate with (rite now... this isn't exactly talking... more like different people's thoughts on a sheet of paper.... which it will be, when it's printed out). :) And well, for me, i'm usually the one in the group that's the quietest one, but then i also pay atention to what other people are saying (ususally) and well, ... hmmm... got a little sidetracked, but well, i am quiet, but i am sociable

Well, I could say that I've usually listening to people quite a lot but in due time can turn out to rant on and on about a few topics I enjoying going into.
Most of the time, I am pretty much straight forward and will respond nicely if approached in that reflected manner. If not, I will just stare you down but that's rarely the case nowadays for some reasons.
I do like meeting new people and discovering them, helps me know a bit more about what's going around so although I dont have that many very close/intimate friends, I am often talking with a bunch of people I often don't know.- May 17, 2005

http://forum.minitokyo.net/showthread/20321/anyways. as for me, it depends on the situation. I'm very sociable when I feel like it or am in the mood so it comes naturally. But in situations where I'm bored to death (in parents' company cocktail parties that I'm at or something) I really have to force myself to seem sociable. I find that quite draining.
