I'm from Florida, a city called Tampa to be specific. Florida is a swamp of gaudiness and stagnant ideas. It's as wet as it is hot, and people flock like sheep here to witness it, like it were some kind of miracle. It is a ditch, in which those who pass through are caught, either by interest, a missed flight, or the desire to stay, and mix into the general culture. All the people the world doesn't want gather here to swelter and gawk.
