who love is anime ? me i like it so much ! it's very funny and so kawaii !! The f4 is very cool ans tsukushi is very strong to defy them !!! i really appreciate too watch it in spite of the graphics who are not very succeeded !

I liked the anime. I also really enjoyed reading the manga, except the ending to the manga really bugged me. I wish the author would have added in an extra side story to let you know what happens years afterward. I also watched Meteor Garden (Taiwan's live action version of hyd). It followed the manga rather well. I liked the ending to this TV version better than the manga or the anime ending ;)

I loooove Hana yori dango!! The F4 are so cool! I think the anime is a big "wow" and it's one of the best "drama-romance-shoujo" anime I've seen. The animation is not that great, but the story and the characters are so good, that you forget about the "poor" animation during the series!!

I'm in the middle of this really great series. Unfortunately for me I couldn't get the last two DVD's (ep 41 on), I didn't think that I'd enjoy it so much. I suppose I really want to know what happens in the last ten episodes, yes i'm asking for spoilers. Can anyone fill me in on what happens those episodes and the ending?

I saw the anime, and the story stuck more to realism than other shoujo crap (not in an offensive way) I enjoyed it a lot, though I don't like the art style that much... But to say that is to be basing it on its looks, which would be shalloism, which this anime illustrates the counter result to which is why I loved it so much. But has anyone seen the Taiwanese Live Action version? It was aka Meteor Garden. All I have to say is... Vic Zhou!!!!!! XP XP XP XP

The ending was a bit over the top for my tastes in the anime version and I never cared for the guy that Makino ended up with. But otherwise, an excellent shoujo show. Better then Marmalade Boy, another well known shoujo of that era, IMO.

Well, I read the manga and, despite of the awfull art (only gets nice from the 10th volume on) it's a very good manga series.
One of the best shoujo's stories I've read. I didin't like the ending either. I totally agree with tenshiblue. I really would like to know what happens after Doumyiji returns- if he returns. But I like the series very much. Every shoujo fan should read it.- May 19, 2006

Definitely this is good news. I totally love all the twists the story gave out. I remember the days when I would look forward to her new chapters every week (or was that bi-weekly? Its been so long ago I don't recall). The manga ending had left it wide open for a continuation. The story didn't have much of a closure I was satsified with, so hopefully Ms Kamio will finally reveal what the future holds for the main couple.

I've only seen the j-drama version with mastumoto jun and oguri shun...I must say it is a very entertaining drama...I haven't seen the anime or the taiwanese series 'meteor garden'...but I don't plan to see the taiwanese drama at all...I mean all the people that have told me it's better than the japanese version are F-4 fans (I mean the taiwanese group...not as in F4 from the series...ummm...u get wot I mean rite? hehe)

I haven't seen "meteor garden" either, but I heard the j-drama was a lot better... maybe it was because of the characters? I'm a MatsuJun fan ^o^

I really don't watach a lot of anime, but I have read a lot of the manga, somewhere up to volume 12-13 or something like that, and I really like it. I'm not too much of a fan of the artwork, but the story is really gripping, and I like the characters. Good manga.

i haven't read the anime, but i've read all the manga that have been published in english. thats through volume 19. i know this is super lame, but i HAVE to know. i'm dying, literally. i know this is a horrible horrible spoiler but i can't wait for all of the manga to come out. who does tsukushi end up with? anybody who knows, please please tell me. either post it here or email me at claire_w47@yahoo.com. please please please. :)
