I think you might be thinking of fugu, or blowfish. Since certain parts of this fish contain deadly toxins, the preparation is a delicate task and only specially trained and licensed chefs are allowed to serve it. And yes, there is a real risk of death. (By the by, there was a certain blowfish-centric episode of the Simpsons that's gained somewhat of a cult status...)
I'm boring so I like sake. Also, I'm fond of maki with tempura batter bits and mayonnaise~

tako! it's octopus. not the red pickled baby octopus, but the sliced octopus arms with the sucker thingie. tasty and chewy. yumm... but i prefer tako sashimi though

The kind my friend made for our picnic yesterday was yummy. Even though she can't really cook well. XD It had crab meat and celery in the middle. =)

well on the place where I live on..........there is not many variation on the sushi........
A like most of the stuff.....except some tuna
but most of the time I stick with salmon.........and with lots of wasabi XD
oh yeah actually a month ago.......my dad caught a 7 Kg yellow fin tuna........that surely a large feast !!!!!!!
