no. Tokyo is too "industrialized" for me. I want to go to Osaka or places in Southern Japan where hotsprings and nature walks are very much applicable.

Well, I'm staying in Narita and getting the train into Tokyo most days for my holiday there. Would have liked to get to Kyoto too, but the train pass was a bit expensive and I can go there another time.
I would like to go to plenty of other places too, but for now, this will do ^^ .

I'm leaving for Japan on the 6th of next month. I intend to spend most of my time in Tokyo. I also want to spend time in Osaka and Kyoto. I have a friend who is living near Nagano in the mountains and so I will probably spend a couple of lazy days there as well. I will be in Japan for just under a month and I will leave travelling up north for my next visit.

Haiyah, I lazy to read all those post people make so I just put my own version. XD
Well, the last time I went to Japan was 2004 October, it was a fantastic trip and most memorable time I had in my life.
My brother studies in the University of Osaka so we stayed at his place when we were touring Osaka and he became our personal tour guide. I can say, he is experienced at guiding us around the city,so he knew where to bring us to, like the Shinsaibashi District, a very popular tourist site, shopping place. Not only that, he also brings us to where the natives frequent (not a tourist spot but still popular) like there is a 300 yen shop (305 plus tax) which tourists never knew about because the company tour guide will never bring you there. Moreover, the food in Osaka is superb so you if you love food, go to Osaka, the city is renowned for having a variety of delicacies. I don't know what you specifically want and if you have any questions, you can ask me. ^_^ I also went to Kobe, somewhere in the "kawasan Kansai" (hehe, english too poor, must use Malay) which is also renowned for shopaholics because they have many things to shop about - clothes, souvenirs, blahh~. I also went Kyoto, and went to this Kiyomizu temple which is highly commercialised but still quite OK. We went to this japanese food shop somewhere, where they have samples of everything and we were just eating all the samples and drink the o-cha they provided as complimentary. The food they sell has no preservatives and it's really delicious. Yum~! Besides Osaka,Kobe and Kyoto, I went Tokyo Disneyland which is no.fun.at.all. The rides are not as exciting as Sunway Lagoon's or Genting's, more like kiddy rides because safety first. Universal World in Osaka is also the same so if you like exciting rides, I recommend you not to go but if you want to experience it, be my guest. ^_^i was there after the Year End exams, and was there for 10-12 days. I love it. I hope I get to go there again this year. XD

Wow, there are so many places I'd like to go in Japan. The main places I'd like to visit are Kyoto, Osaka, Hokkaido and Okinawa. And then there's Tokyo, in particular Shinjuku. It'd also be cool to visit Tokyo during the Meji Revolution when it was still Edo, although that might not quite be possible ~_~

nolah, i think their uniforms are above the knees. I repeat, above the knees. i see uniformed people everyday in the train, hahaha. XD and i mean literally, exentric, they look like they go to school everyday. o_o scary..
well, the junior high knee length-lah, but the high school ones, mostly are slightly above the knee or something like the anime. ^^ i wanna go japan again~! it's so fun but my bro's been really busy with his experiments lately so the trip gotta wait or i could go somewhere like hokkaido without my bro as tour guide. XD

Tokyo da best!! Well, I'm actually the "city" kind of person..I like technology and anime! I would also recommend going to Akihabara (Its a town) a.k.a, electric town!! That place isn't just for technology and games, it has lotsa anime stores like "Animate" (I always go there everytime i visit Japan! XD)..
The only problem is that i can't communicate well.. >.<
But next trip, i would be bringing my cousin along who has stayed in Japan for a year already..I'm sure he can help out! :D
and the school boy's uniform, looks cool!..No comment bout the girl's uniform.. ^_^'
And here's a photo i took of Akihabara..(sorry bout the quality, its my Nokia 3650.. :()
