I just finished watching the whole series and the ending movie. It left me speechless, just wow...................Why did i make this thread? I dont no really, I just ..........wow.........

Yeah it was the first anime I ever watched after Sailer Moon when I was a little kid... totally blew me away, and I now own the Series DVD and first movie. :) Still working on the 2nd movie, though...

Up until the very end EVA is a great series. The ending is a bit strange though. I really like the music and character development. EVA unit one rocks inspite of it's pansy pilot. I still want to own a warm water penguine that will live in my fridge.

i agree with darkness the penguin would be l337 to have. Its by far my fav mecha seriers around zomg. words cant describe teh l337ness of it.

I thought it was quite easy to follow :P, then again, I watched each episode twice (understood it the first time, reassured myself the second).

I used to love NGE, now, I don't really care for it. It is a nice series though :).

I feel that eva was not as good as I thought it would be, at least not the series, the movies were better imo.

NGE really is one of the pinicals of anime. Its up there with the greats. Along with the original Gundam ^^
Anyway, not many people may know this, but the so called NGE movie "The end of evangelion" isnt technically a movie. Apparently the producers recieve alot of hate mail about the final 2 episodes of NGE (u know, the whole diging into the human phyci). So they decided to remake these 2 episodes to include kmreo action and such.
If u look carefully, i think there are actually shots of the hate mail that the producers recieved somewhere in the 'movie'

Holy friggin crap, I wake up this morning to find 7 notifications and there all on this really old thread lol. Ahhhh but yea, its been awhile since I finished this but I still love Rei. And im still trying to get the Iron Maiden 2nd game. (NGE game). The game is basically the "Possible World" in episode 26, I think its like a dating sim. Ahhh I love the spunky Rei in that "possible world".

Anyone who has seen the refined version of eva? Named Platinum Collection or something, It's supposed to be in better quality both grahpicwise and audiwise?
I can't really remember how it ended now that I think about it, maybe I have to see it again since the only thing I remeber about the ending was that I liked it ^_^'

I was sad to see kaworu's part was so small. everyone makes such a big deal about him. I didnt even know shinji existed since I thought Rei was the main charater judging from posters and stuff. Overall though, it was a pretty good series.

Can anybody enlight me a little? ... I just finished the whole series... It's awsome. But the 25 and 26 chapters are horrible.... I must say it: I slept while the DVD played them.
I want to see the true finish of the series... What movie should I go for?

end of evangelion is the real ending, the other movie is just basically review.
