I just want an all around opinion. What exactly do you believe in? And I don't mean your religion... I meant as your idol? Your uh... something that always bring you good luck and all. Like faith? Chance? Etc.?

1) That good people always try to give their best to their work, family, friends, etc....
2) That there are a lot of crappy people in the world.
3) That not everyone can be saved.
4) That there are a lot of fates worse than death.
5) That you cannot claim to believe in something, if you don't question why you believe in it and if you don't truly listen to others when they challenge the belief.and a whole bunch of other stuff.

I believe that everything in life happens for a reason. And nothing you do is a mistake and that it was meant to happen..? I guess? That's sort of like fate/destiny, I suppose. So, I believe in fate and/or destiny.

Hmmm, this thread is really unsure of itself, haha.
I beleive in... well, I woulda said karma, and woulda said that religion's stupid, but since this thread has nothing to do with that and to no offend anyone.... I'll go ahead an say fate. Or at least a higher purpose in life, or maybe someone controlling us all without our realization.

realization.I think it isn't. Everyone believes in different things and not everyone can agree on the same thing. Like you and I believe in Fate. They "controlled" us ever since our existence was known. I think that they've planned everything out for us with out our knowledge.

lets say that U belive (and know) that luck doesn't exist, but U buy a ticket of lotery.
U loose, but someone else is gona win ¿why? cuz there WILL pull some ticket of, someone HAS to win... so lets say that it is not U, it is not me, its not the poor ddude around the corner, its not the hungry family in chcago, is not the gambling guy at the casino. just someone... now he winz, cuz he was "lucky", he was a result of complete random.

I believe in Jesus. He gives me faith and He gives me the courage to go on after hard times. I don't believe in those false idols that other people do. I don't believe in shooting, killing, slaughter either. If we all put our faith and beliefs in the Lord none of the killing issues would be happening today. I belive in my friends too. They are always there for me and i love them all.

makes U wonder... is there really such thing as luck?Okay, so in your POV, luck doesn't really exists. But I still suppose that there is a type of random chance. Otherwise, the meaning of the word "luck" won't really be true. Luck means being one in a million probability of it happening.
And most of the times, Asian people believe in luck. We think that 4, 8, 3 and 9 are lucky numbers, and it would keep us lucky and safe. So you can't really argue about what exists or not. It depends on the other people. If they think that it exists, then it does. if they don't, then it doesn't.
