The manga is much better and went longer than the anime, if i remember correctly

it's a good manga, watched a couple of episode of SlamDunk too, but i guess the manga suits me better

it's about basketball, about a highschool boy named Sakuragi Hanamichi who joined basketball club for the girl he likes has a major interest in basketball.

it's pretty funny manga

Slam Dunk is the best basketball anime ever and all new one are fake...
I like it, it has comedy, thrill and action scens...
It's a good anime and i hope to see more like it...
I'm a big fan of it, the same as u do...

Yep, the anime was not finished... I haven't read the manga, but I people say it's good, and it was longer than the anime.

The anime is so very funny! And the-dark-prince is right all the other "SlamDunks-wanna be" were a total failure OX lol

It's a really good basketball anime. :D I really like the story. And the characters are also nice.
Sakuragi is very funny!! He makes me laugh!! XD
Slam Dunk is always having a replay here in our country.

Slam Dunk is pretty much my all-time favorite anime, I have pretty much all the Anime DVD sets and all of the Manga volumes as well, which take up ALOT of space in my room lol but it don't matter cause it's entertaining for a basketball fan like me, there should've been video games coming out from that anime and I don't mean the ones that are only in Japan.

I'm surprised it isn't well-known here. It was the most sold manga in Japan when it was still running. And that reminds me that I have still to read the last books. I'm not interested in the anime since I don't really like much the manga even if I enjoy it... probably because of its humour.

The anime is really not finished but if you'll see the manga, it's way too long and more detailed. And I saw this anime many times. It's always aired that here in the Philippines and many kids and kids at heart loves it, hehehe! ^_^'

I saw the anime series, (they pass it two times in my country) and its so funny.
I love the 'Tensai-hanamichi' , the kitsune, Mitsui, Miyagi, well all Shohoku Team, one of my favorite character is Sendo!!!kawaiii!!!!^_^

Man, that's pretty hard but it's okay since you got the later episodes!

My favorite episode is Shoyo-Ryonan V.S. Shohoku! That games really rocks especially when Sakuragi got his first jump shot on a game!
