the internet is just...well...you could say a giant world-wide mega-mall of some sort, majority wanders around minding
their own buisness in their own little groups, while some of the minority are the bad evil people that follows you
around and takes pictures of you, some are those guys with the funky uniforms and a baton that beat down any
trouble-makers. what im saying is part of the large interweb is practically almost identical to real life while others
are...well out of the ordinary i guess.
being on the internet more than i used to? hmm...well i could do it but i wouldn't -want- to do it, cause well i have fun typing up this "short" reply. and online relationships, IMO it only works around 20% of the time, dont look at it too pessimistically half of the world is on it, dont get too exited over it either, there are some cases where every possible thing that can go wrong does in online relationships...you better trust yourself you know who you're dating i guess.
i dont really think the internet should be considered a fantasy world, right now its the only thing keeping me sane, although its true most (most...not all) things you participate in on the internet wont affect you localy i still treat it as my second home, a place where i can kick back and be who i wanna be. the internet is sort of dangerous depending on what you do, if you know your community and the people that are in it, and they're not bad people, you're pretty much safe...hopefully, but it never hurts to be prepared. and one last thing to add to that, the internet isnt the fantasy world, its the computer. just seems to me that internet gets all the beating...file sharing, sure its a huge thing but what about the people leaking data from big companies like microsoft? those dont get in the spotlight, and internet dating, not really that much different than penpal dating (dating with letters).
