Who think There should be a remake of neon genesis Evangelion the series.I do Because I hated the ending. It didn't have necessarily have to be a happy ending just not so damn depressing and psychotic.

Evangelion is just the way it needs to be. I just wouldn't be the same if it had a different ending. It just takes some time to begin to understand the ending.

whoa whoa, did you not see the movies Death and Rebirth as well as The End of Evangelion? Those wrap up the entire season beautifully. Don't settle with the psychotic nonsense of the last episode... The movies make up a true conclusion. Hint: The Third Impact...

No. Aside from maybe making the art more modern, there would be no point. And the ending was one of the more original one's in anime.

It's easy to say the world is corrupt and humans should all die-- that we are worthless and incapable of more. It's harder to do something to help. Maybe everyone is a bit too lazy.

I actually heard that there WILL be a remake of NGE. Rumors are saying the new version will consist of four movies with additional stories and completely new ending (I am VERY curious how they are planning to prevent armageddon like one in EoE). For now I think it is a good thing that they are remaking it. It may be interesting and not as depressing as the original. But that isn't all. They are making a live - action movie Evangelion too. I've heard they are planning to release it in 2010.

I don't think that counts as a remake. It would be more of an movie/OVA release. I think the live action one got canned.

actually i dont have high hope for anime making into live action.
