In tha past few weeks I've had a lot of people trying to friend me but no matter what they do, seconds later I'm removed from their friend lists. Joycev inquired on my part and was told it was probably due to the dash in my name and the only solution would be to change my ID. But there have been a FEW (very few) rare and random people who have added me to their friend lists in recent weeks and have been successful. So can anyone find a way to remedy this without changing my name? o.o

From someone trying to friend me:

Hmm I don't think it's the dash thing because I know others that have that character as well in the username as it doesn't pose a problem.

The problem could lie in actions of the person adding you. Since the friendlist works like a toggle, if a person hits the 'back' button on their browser after they added you, it'll reactiviate that toggle mechanism and thereby you'll be removed from their list.

That's the only explanation I can come up with. But it is strange that so many people can't seem the add you, so maybe there's a different issue. Well anyway, good luck and hope your problem gets resolved soon ^^

hmmm something similiar happened to me the other day.
Someone added me to their friendslist. and moments l8er, i was removed.
I also tried to add them to my friendlist. It says i have 8 but he isn't there...?

It's not that. I've gone over it 3 or 4 times each with joycev and flyindreams and it happens with both of them no matter what they try to do.

Frankly it seems like the only people that have successfully added me are people I could care if I was added to their list or not...

the same thing is happening to me i try adding someone and it removes them right as i add them and really is pissing me off

I just tried to add you but you don't seem to be on my list so I guess it did take you off. It's strange because I have Aa-chan on my FL and I've had no problems.

I just had it happen again with someone named Kuzain - 7 seconds between befriending and removing.

Seriously, this can't be a coincidence when it happens 90% of the time.

umm it has nothing to do with your name. Its just people see that you dont add them back..so they remove you ^_^'

No... It's not. It's people that WANT to add me but some error makes it so that the system has them remove me.

Someone would not wait 7 seconds for someone to add them back before removing a person >_<

Actually I DID do that. No Back thingy (I closed the window after adding) and it still happened.
