What is gas prices in your area?

The price of gasoline in U.S.A. has become very volatile with price fluctuating almost daily right now. In my area the cheapest grade gasoline is now $2.65 per gallon (not imperial). By American standard it is very high but I also know that Japan and European countries pay much more than that. How much does gas cost in your areas?

Edit: With New Orleans and the surrounding areas devastated by Hurricane Katrina, gas price will now shoot past $3 and stop where? England is now paying roughly $7 per gallon so that is definitely scary.

On base here, I'm paying about $2.30 (been a week or so since I've gotten any, I don't totally remember!) Off base, it's about a 130 YEN to a liter, which adds up to about... $3-4 a gallon. O_o

If I remember correctly one U.S. gallon is equal to 3.785 liter so 130 yen X 3.785 = 492 yen.
Exchange rate is 110 yen to $1.00 right now so Japanese has to pay $4.50 per gallon. Ugh, that is stiff.

Petrol is around $1.20/l at the moment in Australia.

$AU4.54/gallon -> $US3.50/gallon

The premium gas is getting there if not now but very soon at the rate gas price is going. ^_^'

I'm on vacation in Florida so don't know what it is like where I live, but the prices around here seem to range from $2.39 to $2.50

In New York, the lowest is around $2.60 a gallon. The highest is around $3.10 a gallon.

As days go by...

In Connecticut (around hartford), it's around $2.50-$2.60 per gallon, and rising. The highest I've heard of was at the casino (foxwoods or mohegan sun, I forget) was a straight $3.00 per gallon. Oof.
I remember the good ol' days, when $20 could fill the belly of my ol' honda...
I remember last summer being at $1.69 per gallon or less at one point. Crazy. Makes me wish I stoked up then :_:

I use 91 in California. So I don't really look at the other prices. ^_^** I paid $2.89 yesterday. $20 only gave me less than half a tank. ;_; I would say time for some walking...but yeah......right. haha

gas prices are very expensive in germany ... their are around 1,30Euro ... but i am not totally sure, because i connot drive a car and i only hear about the prices in the newsreports ^^"

Well, where I live (Spokane, WA) - the gas stations right near my apartment are charging $2.59 / gallon, yet I don't drive that much (plus I live so close to work), and besides that, I usually drive out of my way (not that far away) and can find it for about 5 - 6 cents cheaper.

I was about to say that is cheap....and then realized cheap by American standard. I guess gas price will be determined by how much people can afford in their respective areas.

euro95 is about 1,37 euro's i think.

and the stuff i have to put in my bike is 1,55 euro's. that's euro95 with special oil for those bikes in it. suzuki tsx ^_^

and... at my place we have a 7 cent discount on the highway so they have even higher prices.

Darn, that is not that far off compared to California. Gas in California is generally higher than the rest of states because of different formulation and more stringent requirement. I just refilled my gas at a cheapest gas station and that was $2.70 per gallon.
