I-Rocks Cross-Direction Optical Mouse

page 1 of 1 4 total items

I'm thinking about buying a new optical mouse because my logitech wireless is just too heavy and awkward for me. I used to use a kensington notebook mouse...but that was a little too tiny even for me.

I like the idea of the 4-direction scroll on the I-rocks mouse and it seems to be an ok size/shape.
Anyone with any experience with it that could give me a recommendation?

I'm open to other suggestions of non-wireless opticals as well as long as they have a scroll wheel
Thanks

Before getting a optical consider what you want to use it for.

DPI is a important factor in optical mouse techonlogy.
For standard use a 800 dpi mouse is good enough, but
if you are into gaming then 800 dpi is not enough for those quick action turns.
And it could be a difference between you killing your enemy or you getting killed.
Logitech's MX 518 let's you change the dpi from 400 dpi to 1,600 dpi.

If money is no option then consider the Logitech's MX 1000 laser.
Check out the demo and you'll be amazed!

If you want tilt-scrolling
Microsoft's tilt-scroll mouse should be the right one for you.
It's scroll is extremely smooth "really Ive tried it and I like it a lot".
Microsoft's IntelliMouse Explorer w/ tilt wheel!

If you are want to use your mouse in the air.
Yes "air" , then consider this...
Use your mouse on the desk or in the air!

Edit:

low dpi for delicate movement
high dpi for fast moving action

No that is the Mighty Mouse...and as far as I know this mouse has been around for a while already...of course the mac mouse has more buttons = so more functions
but I just need the basics

I did look at the Microsoft but I'm not a big fan of the design...
But thanks for the suggestion Tiki
