Hi hi everyone. ^_^ I have written a new poem and I thought some of you might like to see. I know there are a few people on here who seem to like my work.
Anyway, this one was inspired by this guy I had a huge crush on at my work. I'm done with work for the summer and I won't see him until December when i come home, if he even still works there then, so I wrote this poem.

Darkness falls
I think of you
I cry
At the thought of your smile
Strange, it seems
But to me, its not
As I'm leaving you
For quite a while
I know I like you
Maybe love you
Do you know?
I can't tell
You are mysterious
Seem somewhat shy
I never could read you
Very well
Something about you
Made me smile
I'm still
Not quite sure what
And it saddens me
To know that now
I won't see you
For several months
Knowing you'd be there
Made me happy
The only thing
That got me through
Now all I have
Are my memories
Nothing more
Is left of you
But I'll be back
Will you be there?
I'm not sure
But I hope you stay
Long shot, yes
But it gives me hope
It'll get me
Through those hard days
I'll miss you so
My summer love
I hope
You'll miss me too
Maybe someday
We'll meet again
