Apparently, it's a Bonus OAV you can only get with the special edition of Advent Children. It tells the events in Nibelheim, when Sephiroth tries to destroy the village, and when Zack and Cloud try to stop him. I find these infos here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Last_Order:_Final_Fantasy_VII

As far as I could gather (no having played the game but I at least saw both the movie as well as LO) it's kinda a filler or reminder of the end of the game, just to remind viewers in what context the movie takes place. Was quite good.

Life is a game played by gods who are bored and who fight over the rules.

Last Order basically explains the events that take place before the game and gives background info on Cloud and Sephiroth.

Ya, there really isnt much to it. Nice art though. :)
Erm... perhaps Last Order'll give those who haven't played the game a better idea about who Zack was before watching watching Advent Children. :)

For people who haven't really played or dont understand the whole story behind what happened to cloud, sephiroth, and tifa, Last Order is a good summarization of it. I love the way it was done, animation and story wise. Wish they would do more hehe...

i now got the movie and fing love it but not as much as ffvii ac its cool in the sence that its move of the story abought nimble helm but its not ezackly the same as what happen in the game like how some people died and escaped wer difrent all in all it was realy cool ps:i got it but i hear thars a longer version in the japan spesial edishion

Last Order is kinda like Zack's story. It retells what happened at Nibelheim when Sephiroth snapped and how Zack helped Cloud escape from the mansion after they were experimented on by Shin-ra. It shows how Zack took Cloud all the way to the outskits of Midgar where he dies in the game and Cloud kinda assumes his identity. It's pretty cool and see get to see Zack do some damage.
