We make monsters
That is what we call the things that hurt us
Even though it only does
What the earth intends it to do
We make monster
When something comes after us
Takes advantage of us
And we are left totally defenseless
We make monsters
When we think of a name
For something we can’t imagine
That is uglier beyond belief
We make monsters
When we need an excuse
To conquer something
We are having a difficulty doing so
We make monsters
When we need another excuse
To dispose of something
We don’t want for unknown reasons
I make monsters
So I know what to call me
When I finally can’t stand
Myself anymore
