Based on the recent numbers of poem and story threads, I suggest there should be a Literature Library in MT.
Poeple should be able to submit poems, stories, and other forms of //edit:literature just like reviews are submitted.
I think this would decrease the number of threads about poems and stories craving feedbacks and this should put some members without art skills on the highlights with their creative writing.

Agreed Jakulito. I think its pretty sad that these poems or other literary works have to be known as "spam" since people who did them obviously put in at least some effort. Having a place to put poems and other literary works would serve to increase the recognition these people can get for their works. Literature (used rather loosely here) is a form of art as well, after all.

Words are more concrete than still images, so members can express their feelings more creatively than in making walls.
Doesnt sound like a bad idea to me, maybe something that could be implimented in MT3?
Yeah I agree...things would be more organized that way...O also suggest this for online quizes as it also exceeds number here in MT! ^_^

That is a great idea..... , I'm surprised no one has even suggested something like this, because there are a lot of peotry threads and text takes up less space than pics so it would be a nice addition to MT..brilliant! :)

Since Sheq is currently scripting MT3, maybe he can take some time in add this one to his to-do list.

For the time being, How about a mod makes a stickie thread in Everyday Life. Then we can direct members there for all future literary posts.

i don't think it would really work out. Having a thread with multiple literary posts inside will have a problem like which one to give a comment to or which work to focus on.
Either we have a special place for them or all poem and story threads just wander around in the forums.

I didn't know this was how it would start. It's like that song says, "I'm so sick of being tired and oh so tired of being sick". My train of thought leaves me and for the first time in my life I'm feeling old. But I forget about the sickness and carry on beating this guys face in like it's going to lead me somewhere. Where? Only the bones of my fist on this guys neck will point me in the right direction. After an hour of telling this poor fella how to rearrange his face he gives me an address. There's no need in memorizing it because I know it by heart.
I agree 1000000%, I write poetry and it'd be really nice to have a place where I can share my work and take a look at other's. This is a great idea

I'm curious: What the hell do you care??? But if it makes your miserable life a little more better, then I'll tell you.
Complaint: There are too much Poem, story and literary threads on the Everyday Life category and even more are being made everyday.
Suggestion: Create a seperate category to place the Literary threads so they will get more views and comments.
