I always wonder, will we find the past in the future? What i mean is, most people see the future as hovercars that run on water, highrises that reach into the clouds, voice activated doors, and so on....... BUT, what if we become to advance, and end up slowly (accross thousands of generations) going back to prehistoric times and working our way up again?Starting from scratch????Thoughts? Opinions? Anyone?

wow. I'm not even thinkin that far ahead (but thats because I believe that these are the "last days"). Anyway, with the way humanity's going, it's likely we will advance somewat, but if in that advancement we don't find ways to avoid mother earth's detieoration, thers a good probability that we'll cause some major occurence to ahppen that will force us to start over if we survive... :hmpf:

Lol, the only way I can see that happening is if we bomb ourselves back to the stoneage or if there's a large social revolution that has us all go back to farming and abandon technology for a peaceful life. Otherwise, nah.

Nope dont see that happening. Taking away technology from man is like taking crack away from a crack baby.

Though... if you talk about the timeline in general, I see it as not linear, but circular. Stars live have little plantoids then they die. Soon from the dust cloud forms a new system.

In this case maybe the circle of life actually have meaning here. (Fans of Lion king i was refering to the movie)

Well it might be that humans will start from strach, in the future, but probably not
now nor the near future. Maybe the in year 253232, that is if we humans can actually survive up
to that long, without becoming extinct by our own ideas and creations.
If you have seen the Movie: The Time Machine, you be amazed at how the future is like. ;)

In the end, people will always end up being people. It is entirely possible that in our meddlings with science, we could screwup whatever caused thebig bang, and start all over again! LOL. ...Or devastation of an apocalyptic scale could occur. ...Just think how dependent modern man is on technology. ...Electricity, fertilizers, agricultural tractors, etc... ...It's kind of scary.
