Well, it isn't exactly an anime, or a classic example of an anime, but i really enjoy the cartoon. The animation is crisp and really smooth, the colors are bright and placed well, and the character design is solid. On top of all of that it is a flash animation, a style that i really appreciate and am studying in school. Also, the actually band Puffy AmiYumi isn't half bad.

So, any thoughts on the show? Do you like flash animation? e.g foster's home for imaginary friends, mucha lucha, plus thousands throughout the web, atomfilms.com and goultralightsgo.com have a few, as well as newgrounds.com And if you consider it an anime, or don't consider it an anime, why? Just felt like asking a few questions. Keep it real real.

Well, it's okay. I don't think we can classify it as anime, but for what it is it's cool. Still like Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends better, though.

Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi is a great show, is funny, is nice, and is based in the great japanese band Puffy Amiyumi. You should heared sometime

Not exactly anime, although western and eastern cultures (ie. Japanese) are becoming more intermeshed as time progresses. Japan since the end of the second world war has actually been referred to as "America's little brother" and has actually in the last decade served as an inspiration to western writers and animators alike. HiHi Puffy-AmiYumi is a great example of this which is a sort of stepping stone into that of the intermeshing of cultures, of course, further down this road are the actual anime programs themselves who have found a niche amongst many members of variable age groups worldwide. And there you have it, Acyx's lecture of sociopolitical.. err.. stuff.
