I don't think so. I like drinking it from time to time but I can easily spend more than 8 months without drinking any.

Soda isn't addictive. You just got used to drinking it all the time. And now your trying to break a habit, and like any habit it's not easy. Medically or psychologically, it's not addictive.
An eye for an eye brings justice, but it is compassion that changes a man.
Another point of view doesn't necessarily make yours more or less right.

Soda is quite addictive cause in a way, it's like a drug, after all it has caffiene and anything caffiene made has nicotine, which is why I keep a healthy distance away from sodas and stick with Gatorade for energy. ^_^

soda contains caffeine which is considered a drug. so if you go too long without having anything with caffeine in it, you start to crave something that has it in it. I <3 National Geographic for telling me pointless things like these =P

Anything can be addictive (even work :|) Since a lot of soda has caffeine in it, it is slightly more addictive than other things (like videogames and such, but not nicotine and other harmful drugs.)

I love soda. There is 2 import stores by where I live. So I by sodas from around the workd at them. I like the German and English made sodas. And of course the Japanese ones. But my favorite is still the sodas that are made by brwerys and more fancy American ones. Darn know I want another. :) :)

Yes, Soda is adictive.
I know people that get headaches if they don't drink soda,
although the same can be said about certain coffee drinks I know, too.
It is most likely related to caffeine.I mainly drink water or juice. I used to drink soda everyday.

I don't think its the soda itself, but the caffine in it (also applies to anything with caffine, like coffee). The human body gets used to that caffine boosting its systems that it developes a need for that to operate.
