First Anime was Robotech Macross Saga vol 1-3 back in 1988 or 89.
First Manga book I bought was the Macross II in 1993 by Viz.Story of my life.

Okay, I'm gonna be completly honest with you.. the first time I bought Anime/Manga was..
September 29th 2005, at 4:15pm, UK time..
This is no joke. My first Anime/Manga was purchased 7 hours and 35 minutes ago. ^_^'

hahaha! it's been about a week since i bought my first manga! o_0 i'm worried though...that i will like it sooo much and i will have to keep buying more and more, like my anime collection. i didn't want to read it at first...because you had to,...well, read ^_^' but then while i was doing the involvement fair for my anime club, i started reading XXXholic and i was like wow! i can like manga! woooooooooahhhhh. so, i thought i should buy some. and i did. but i didn't start reading it yet because of my stupid classes taking up all my time x_x

i guess Anime is more addictive than anything else in the world. XD Because I'm really wanting to go watch Gundam again, and I've only just finished watching it!! o_O

Well... I've been watching/reading it for awhile, but the first one I ever *bought* was about... 4 years ago when I was 11. It was Yu Yu Hakusho. XD

four hundred bucks worth a the stuf and i couldnt be happier... well unless i some how became
rich

my first manga was 4 years ago and my first anime was when I was 6 years old thanks to my dad. Before then I didnt even know that manga exsisted cause I was a total noob hehe with no internet connection and I lived in the middle on nowhere so I didnt know where to buy anime...plus my mum kept on telling me that it would rot my brain so she wouldnt buy it for me even if I could find it.

Anime? Appleseed VHS, around 1994...
Manga? Also Appleseed, also around 1994/1995... then nothing and around 1997 Dragonball was published in German. (first right-to-left manga in Germany ever! - well I was told there was another one before but I don't know which one)The first I watched was either Jungle Taitei or Heidi... early 80's...

Well the first anime I bought was just over 3 years ago, 3x3 Eyes on DVD, or 7 years ago on VHS (Nothing bought in between). Since then however, I have bought over 500 anime dvds! ^_^
Anime, the smart mans crack!I'm gone and so are all my scans...
Sorry, but the double standards of this systems mods have pushed me out of here. Farewell.
