In my old school, they had few breaks (outside winter/spring break) in the middle of the school year, but a long summer vacation (almost 3 monthes!).
In my new school, they have several breaks in the school year, but a short summer vacation (barely scratching 2 monthes).
Would you guys/gals rather have several breaks in the school year and a short summer vacation, or vice versa?

I have 1 and a half month of Winter break.
Starts from Dec 15? end 1/31 or 2/1
Some few days off here or there, due to holiday reasons or school reasons.
And 3 and a half month for summer vacation.
Starts in the mid of may and ends Aug31.
So I'm happy with what I have. :)
i dont mind breaks...as long its not too long so that i dont get mushy brains

waaaai! such a long summer break! i've got the same break regarding winter break... and then a few holidays and a week for spring break. for summer i've got the standard 3 months... can't wait for thanksgiving break....
I like that new system you described. It's the one I have now. A few weeks to relax is better than a huge long holiday that turns you lazy X3
