How do you feel when you are "pirating" anime (if you do)? Do you feel guilty at all (even the slightest bit) to know that you are not technically supporting the creator. I don't know about you, but I feel a little guilty when I download music, but not enough to stop me from continuing. Anime, well I buy most of mine cheap from China anyways (its probably pirated anyway) so I don't feel bad about that. How about you?

Well correct me if I'm wrong, if it's new shows from japan, like...uh I think negima or bleach or....there's more...but like those shows haven't been liscensed (as far as I know) in america, or where ever it is you may live, that it is legal to sub them and distribute them until a time that they become liscensed in your region. Right? so those animes you download may not be illegal and you should feel less guilty

Yes, I have no problems downloading those shows, and ... only a little bit of a problem with the others. Generally, if they're good enough, I'll own them eventually anyway.

And fyi, the China versions are pirated.

Yeah i do alot of downloading of anime and just as fluke said you should feel less guilty since it's not illegal. I feel that having downloading anime is sorta showing your support, haha. I love my anime and i have to have it anyway possible. Sometimes I would send mail to the creators. Maybe you chould show your support like that? hey if any guilt came up i'd easily remove it by purchasing it once it came out, bingo XP

i dont feel guilty reason because i wouldnt have bought the vids anyway, same goes with a lot of movies and songs but i dont dl movies anymore and just sometimes songs
i buy most of my movies now cos vcds in hk r cheap, compared to uk!

Not at all, especially when they charge 19.99(cheapest) for 3-4 episodes when you KNOW they can put more on there. They milk and I pirate.

You are not getting milked at 20 bucks for 4 episodes - in Japan they charge about 35US for two episode discs and 60US for four episodes.

I download them all the time for sampling and collection purposes. If I really like the songs or series, I buy the CDs and DVDs. It's cheaper than randomly buying and not knowing whether I will like it or not.
