Does it take a small mistake, or the slaughter of a human? What makes a person so evil, that there is no turning back?? Well this is my first thread in a long time, so give me your thoughts!

Forces trapped in yearning, memories trapped in time. The night is my companin and solitude my guide. Through this world i stumble, so many times betrayed trying to find an honest word to bind the truth insane.

Sorry, couldn't resist ^^; I think there is always a turning back. When someone says there isn't, it's because he thinks he won't be able to live in peace any more if he stops, or regardless of whether he stops or not.

"Evil" deeds are those done out of egoism and no respect for other's lives (biological and/or social) while being aware of it. Like in, "I don't care about them".

I think even mass slaughter isn't "evil" per se if the one doing it firmly believes it's for the best not only of himself. It may still be gruesome and wrong, but it has lost its "meaningless destruction" part and is supposed to serve some purpose beyond personal benefit. Not that I'd defend it just because of that.

So, I draw a line between "evil" and "ethically unacceptable", or to be more precise, they don't always go hand in hand.

and they don't ask for forgiveness. in fact, they don't WANT forgiveness.
selfish and uncaring to the absolute core.

I don't think I evil. My freind call me heartless which mean that I don't care about anything or ask for forgiveness or want forgiveness. What you say is true about me but I not evil.

I not goint to lie. I do hurt people without feeling sorry for them. Not on purpose. I say thing that meant to say. By telling them the truth. Is up to them. Can they hanld the turth or not.

That who I am. I choose to be that. But that doesn't mean that I evil. I not selfish. I just heatless. Its does not mean I don't have heart. I don't show it. I do have friend. I even have friend who is just play mean. She does care about people but the things she say are just curl. Wrose then what I do. That does make her evil either.

But again, that your guys opinion. To me, what make someone evil is their smile. What I mean by their smile, you never knew what behide those smile or think. You can tell by their eye as well. And making joke of something that shouldn't be a joke. For example killing people for their pressure.

true evil i think is something from within... something that exists in perhaps every person... true evil is... Darkness...
For where there is light, there is shadow. In every person there is a good or 'light' part, and an opposite, and sometimes equal darkness..
True evil is the darkness from within, consuming all from within, surpassing all restraint and control. Taking over like a beast. Destroying everything until all that is left... is nothing..

This darkness takes many forms, and is ever changing and can be weakened, but cannot be perished, for in light there is shadow... the embodiment of darkness...

The true evil, is that person who tries to snatch a nation of her riches interposing a pile of lies and a supposed patriotism. Besides, kill thousands of people, destroy piles of homes and whenever it can it boasts about that as it was something good. :(

evil is... when someone can hurt another without feeling guilty.
ie someone without any conscious. it feels evil and scary for me...
someone who can totally ruin another's life yet can go on sleeping well at night... just creeps me out.
