in the US, and I've read that 1 in every 3 people will become obese, not to mention the large scale hearing loss
from loud music. I think 90% of the population has sh*t for brains since they waste so much time and resources on
useless things (like sports) and that most people don't think the worst will ever happen to them.
What're your opinions?
I can throw that right back at you and say you waste time and resources on useless things, like anime (I assume you at
least like anime) or browsing online message boards. Don't be so pretentious to make such silly assertions that one
person's hobby is any better or worse than anyone else's. Unless that hobby happens to be something illegal,
like cutting up babies.
I'm not a big sports fan either, though. :D
*ahem* to actually speak on the subject..
US is supposed to be the land of the free. While this isn't so true today (due to both the socialistic and
authoritarian tendencies of government - and the citizens), that means we can basically do what we want (theoretically)
as long as it doesn't invade the rights of another. So, if we want to lead a lifestyle which makes us
whales...well, thats our choice. If we want to go to huge concerts, or blast our ears with headphones and eventually go
deaf, thats our choice. Now, if we try to shift the blame (like us Americans love to do), then thats just stupid. Or
smart, if you think about it.. ;)
Anyway, if people want to "waste time" with sports, anime, or whatever their quirky hobbies may be, as long as
it doesn't affect you, why do you even care?
