i did a search on "school rule" and nothing came up. well in your opinion, what is the dumbest rule(s) in your school?
i think that the dumbest rule in my school is the student uniform. i mean you can't wear any black pants at all! it can only be navy blue and jeans is not included! then there is the sweater and jacket rule where you can only wear navy blue or gray colored without HOODS!
we cant wear hats, or wallets with chains. thats stupid in my opinion.

having to wear socks that are above the ankles. . . we always get in trouble for wearing a) no socks or b) really short socks
we're required to wear pants (which i dont mind), but pants cover up your socks anyway, so whats the point of having a sock rule if no one can see them in the first place

I WIN THIS DEBATE......In my school, thanks to me, there was a ban placed on hypnosis within the school. Seriously.......what other high school in the world has placed a ban on hypnosis. Anyone think they have a better ban?

My school is kinda strict. Uniforms, no mini skirts, hair hafta be above the collar or tied up. No one is allowed to pull down their socks and make it into an ankle sock or pull it up to make it like those Japs socks. No hair should be flying around our face, it must be pinned up if messy. No mobile phones allowed after entering the school gates. And the rules goes on... gahh... figures, my school is an all girls' school after all.

Didn't some school ban Pokemon ? Lol, I just find that kinda funny and outrageous.
I'm from a private school so naturally really strict on uniforms and hair, make up, socks, shoes, blah blah blah. No devices of whatever kind... oh well keeps everything nice and clean ;)

well we have a gang at our school called 5T (might of died now), so our principal made the
"______'s 5T gang" just 5 rules starting with T
and i started a period of drawing swastikas on people's books etc and stamped it on people and im not allowed to do that anymore - maybe because my teacher hates me? maybe because shes jewish?....who knows

well, first, for senior opens, basically studyhall where you can go anywya, this year for them we either have to go to the library and work or go off school grounds, i dont have a car so thats annoying and last year we had a senior lounge, you could go there and talk and hang out but they took that away. The rule that i dont like is we are supposed to have our school id cards with us at all times, they never check for them, they are used to buy food, but they say we need them with us at all times and actually made my sister freak out when she lost hers.

I've never been a fan of school uniforms, but the highschool I currently attend doesn't require them.
What bothers me is they block all the best sites (porn, for example...jk...) such as emails.
Can't play hacke sak in the school anywhere and can't have head phones on before or after school even if your CD player is off.

The old director of my high school tried to make a rule to make it illegal to walk down the left hand side of the hallway... He was fired about a month later...

We're not allowed to speak English at my school. :\
We are not allowed to take pictures 'cause of a friend of mine. She misguardedly took a picture with a supervisor in the back. They added it this year because it was not in the school's agenda, and they were always saying that it was in it. About the supervisor thing, he sometimes go and speak with her and her firends, but they don't even know him a bit. I wonder if he spoke to her this year... :\

1. Uniforms, everyday with nametags and all
(N the uniform skirt cant be too short ang too tight)
2.NO handphones within school area
(the punishment sucks:ur hp is taken and given back one month later)
3.Hair needs to be tied up

Yeah... us too. But it's just our ID's on a string around our neck instead of name tags. Without our
ID's, we'd get kicked out of campus. (It's pretty easy to ditch though..)
We also can't wear plain white shirts.
Not allowed to enter the locker room at lunch.

HAHA! i was in an art summer camp when i was around 8, and i was drawing a WW2 german battleship, and i drew a swastika on its deck, and i got in trouble
i was just trying to make it historically accurate! i swear to god, political correctness is the downfall of the united states
