umm...I haven't really been reading any real books recently so I was wondering if you guys would recommend anything? Preferably something that isn't a romance (well...unless it's btwn two guys...i noe...I'm strange). But anyway any books that are a must read in your opinion. :)

Recent novels ? Litterature ?
i like some Farmer's short pieces and also Martian Chronicles... Actually not really into english-speaking books except few ones. Oh I like Jane Eyre's novels too... even if I've thougth it will be quite old-fashionned but surprisingly I've found them funny and refreshing.

I personally recommend 'The belgariad" by David eddings, its a five book series, and then another 7 books to go with it. Ive read it many many times over and its still interesting. Its an adventure book with a prety basic romance story to it (its not sappy stuff).
Cheers

I still believe the classics are the best way to go. Read "East of Eden" by Steinbeck.
