net. It is possible and no it's not something that's "dumb" or "stupid"
cause there someone who's not in your area. Just that when your in one
it's just like anyother relationship. You gotta trust them

Fine, I'll admit it - I love her. What's so wrong with that? She really is a great gal. Trust me! We may not know what eachother looks like and we may have not met face to face... But right now, that doesn't matter to me. It's been so long since I've met a decent woman like her. I love her. Give her a chance - you will too.

Most of the girls look quite slutty to me, and I think that a lot of the girls already had sex at least once in their lives. I certainly do not want a girl who has given up her virginity to someone else just for me to pointlessly have sex with her. Most people who frequent the internet don't really have a relationship. For most of those who don't frequent the internet, they're attending to other business like college, schoolwork, or their own relationship. Then again, some college students frequent the internet for doing work and research, but they don't engage themselves in chats, chatrooms, or forums.

I do not find it wrong to fall in love with someone over the internet unless it's love bearing way too much distance. A good few hundred miles will not hurt at all, but a thousand miles or overseas loving isn't the best thing at all. Mind you that those who think love online is dumb or stupid either have a relationship already who thinks it will even last for a long time, plans to go for someone in their area regardless of whether the person is a virgin or not, or haven't even given it a chance.

crush, love, it dosent ,matter, when a person is in love they cant do anything about it, but they can do somthing before getting in love, and prevent it(note thats my case)

well there isent maney people who find a love over internet, and those who do(this is for people who live VERY far away from each other), well firstly,
love over seas, thats a bit hard(like silentmaamune said), but if you have faith in it, it can come true,
it might not last for very long, deppending on maney things, like some people listen much to there parents, and if there parents say its stupid and it whont come true, the one who is in love somtimes gives up, or because fo to much schoolwork, there are ALOT of conditions for the love to be stable

i'm not a pro in this, i'm just saying what i know(and also i'm b-a-d at explaining)

i think it's possible to fall in "like" online...it's a lot like meeting someone online and realizing that they go to your school/w.e but not actually knowing them...or maybe i'm just biased because i met my awesome kid that way, and then after eight months he moved to the other side of the country. -_- so, i think that it's possible that you could potentially love someone online, but it'd be more likely if you've met the person or..something along those lines...i just lost my train of thought, so now i'm just rambling. hi...

Well, love happens. It's usually something you cannot control.
I personally would like to meet someone in person first, judge them, date later, and see what happens. If everything is perfect, hey! Marriage, Kids.
To me, love over the internet is a bit odd, and I am a little skeptical about it.
Skepitcal like, zomg, what if this is some MAN that is a ***ual predator?!?
If you webcam someone, that person CAN be a subsitute...
Well, there are a group of people that are true and blue, so I guess that love over the internet does work...
I don't know what I would do if a fellow MTist fell in love with me. I'm too much introvert to do anything to get things moving... T.T....

well, if i was in love with a mter i would tell him but now it's too late for me to tell this guy that i liked for a long time now. so i don't know. if the guy has a gf then don't bother until he is not with her. if he doesn't have a gf then you could just tell him. i know it's type scary but just act as if you have nothing to lose. maybe he'd like a girl that comes out and says it. ask him if he likes girls like that or who are shy. ask questions about how he'd treat a girl if she was a friend then became his gf then how he'd treat her if they were to break up for any reason.

Some do that, but I personally believe that it's useless and pointless to lie to someone about your age and other stuff. Let poeple like you for who you are, not a false image. That's what I think.

I think you might have some reality issues if you fall in love online. The love you build from meeting, hearing, and seeing the other person builds the foundation of trust. If you are so easily giving your trust to someone who is almost an entire stranger to you from the start, just by chatting and making <3 symbols all the time, most of the time, it's not going to go anywhere.

Agreed. Unless they were being truthful and honest about everything they've ever said to you but even that is sometimes hard to believe and/or those types of people are hard to come by.

I know i could love someone i've never met but of course i'd have to get to know them a lil better and they would have to talk to me...someone who ignores me won't be taken in a good light or rather i'll be offended if im ignored.

Sometimes internet relatonships or meetings can occur and work out and follow through and some people i know met online and even went so far as getting married to that person and living happy.
