i have the first season of negima thats 26 eps. but in absoluteanime.com it says there are 52 and a special is there a second season or something or are they wrong. the link is http://www.absoluteanime.com/magic_teacher_negima/index.htm

Yeah, it only has 26, but you never know if they will pull out another season. I think I heard a rumor about that too and remembered seeing somewhere about more episodes, but that was a while ago and nothing has happened so I think this is all we get.

I've seen the 26 episodes and the manga continues far beyond it......there would have to be a second season coming along a little later but the first season would appear to be 26 episodes.
2 seasons is 26+26=52 yes :D

i beleive there are 3 oav episodes. I am not 100% sure but i think so becaus i saw a video that was titled Mahou sensei OAV ep2/3 so i assume that there are 3. I could find the other 2 tho.

I didn't like how it ended and I felt like they could of done more adventures in the anime series since theres so many girl's in one class so i hope they could make another season.

Well, love hina was about 25 episodes and the manga continued longer, so I don't think the negima would be the same. That would be kewl if they did continue tho but so far, only 26 episodes I believe.

Regardless of how many episodes anyone says. I just hope that it doesn't end up like Love Hina. Though 52 sounds like a nice number.

I prefer the manga over the anime but still good. There's about 19 volumes out for the manga. Just got interesting again haha.

I have da discs... says it ends at 26, but there's a NEGIPA coming out, so nud sure.... Hasn't been translated to eNGLISH YET.

Yes There are 52 Episodes and 2 Specials In Video Anime format. Only 26 from what I can tell are in English for release in the USA. I Know there are more because I have Watched other episodes on YouTube that some people have uploaded but they are just subtitled. I believe they air In Asia on Tv. Wether or not we will see the other episodes in English is up in the air Because of the Censorship Police are calling this Kiddie Porn and are using this Particular Anime to try to stop the Eastern Infuluence. If any one Knows where I can even get Subtitle or English Dvds beyond the first 26 Please let me Know don\'t quite trust using YouTube completly
