If what someone has bougth for me, it would be books from Gundam Seed Destiny and Gundam Seed, plus one poster from GSD and some postscards from GSD... and some Kamichama Karin mangas.
If it was I have bougth... some mangas from an online store.
If it's just anime, probably some pokemon stuff.

Couple hundred dollars worth of used and new mangas that I bought in Japan and lugged it back. Man, it was heavy. But the savings are great if you can find the titles used. You will still save even if you buy it new because you're not paying for the markup/import fee.
Of course, you have to pay airfare to get to Japan, lodging, food, transporation etc...

I only buy anime DVD's once it "passes" my tastes and it approved by me and worth watching some more.
Chrno Crusade (Thin pack)
Mahoromatic (Thin Pack)
Chobits (Thin Pack)and if only I can read Japanese and play region2 DVD's...I will buy Japanese Imports instead since it's in much higher quality than domestically produced DVD's.

I picked up Vol.4 of Maburaho the other day. I'm just waiting for Vol.3 of Girls Bravo: First Season and Vol.4 of Elfen Lied to be released. I've already seen both of these series completely, but I like to have the actual DVDs as well. :)

My most recent aquisitions are K.O. Beast vol 2, Birth, Happy Lesson OVA, and Steel Angel Kurumi vol. 3. I have seen none of these anime, but they were free at a con, so I got them. The most recent purchases I have made in the anime department are Final Fanatasy VII: Advent Children, a Yami to Boushi to Hon no Tabibito wallscroll, a Final Fantasy 8 wallscroll, and a Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children wallscroll. I just can't pass up a good wallscroll... Next on my list is the next FMA DVD and the next boxset of YuYu.
