Who hates Fllay Alster?

What I think is:
DAMN THAT F***ING LITTLE BITCH!
She is so selfish and acts like she is concerned for Kira when what she is really doing is waiting for him to die! that is a damn good reason to hate her, in my opinion.

I think I'm one of the few that doesn't hate her. She doesn't have a normal, cliched position in the anime, and I enjoy plots of betrayal between friends for some reason, since it isn't all fakey-happy little black and white wonderland like it is in some anime.

Feh. This color is my personality. It makes me different from everyone else. Love and revel it.

who i hate is Lacus i hate her becouse she is useless and boring character
i wonder why she can go Seed Mode without using it correctly maybe
her Seed Mode just some Decoration for her.

I used to hate her. Comparing her attitude from the first few eps to the last, she transitioned from uhm...a 'bad' person to a good^^

i hated her when she tried to keep kira all to her self, but the ending required her for kira to defeat that crazy sick mask guy.

And yes, i do think she is selfish and all but most people too are selfish, sometimes they just dont show it unless something happens.

I didn't know that anybody would actually like her until I saw the posts above. I personally don't really like her because she is annoying and useless. I don't really understand why she still had feelings for Kira and why Kira had feelings for her

I will restrain myself from being an ass to defend Lacus. I can't argue with your opinions, though you have no reason as to say she has seed just for decorations. I haven't watched Destiny, but I don't need to seeing as how they are reviews about the episodes, and it was a failure at the end (so it doesn't matter to me XD)If you think about it, everyone who has a Seed mode is a coordinator, and I may be misstaken, but Cagali also has Seed Mode, but she'
related to Kira and was kinda experimented along with him, since their father was still working at the time...And how is she a boring useless character? She was the one who opened a lot to Kira, better than the attempts of Flay.

Now for the question, I always told her to shut the hell up when she kept on going about co-ordinators XO. To those who like her, IMO they only like her for being a 'normal' for loosing her father and for probably 'truly' loving Kira.

Here are some easy to find points of were she screws:
NOTE: SOME ARE SPOILERS TO THE MINORITY WHO HAVEN'T WATCHED SEED YET

1.Took advantage of Kira when he was saddened over the lost of the girl in the shuttle and spent the night in 'bed' for her scheme to work.

2.She hated Co-ordinators, fine, but she keeps on talking about it even when Kira was around and just used cover ups like 'oh... your different from them'. And she was such a bitch to Lacus and Kira, and look at Miriallia and Kuzzey, they had no problems with her and they ask a request to give dinner to a civilian co-ordinator, when she complains about it likelike a child. She could have resort it to a different method like a young adult other than NO!

3. She ditched Sai! And they were arranged to get married but Flay turned it down just to get back at Kira. And she totally manipulated Kira! He would have never do that to someone he has to protect! And Kira already has a lot on his mind about his friendship (Athrun I mean)

4. How many times do you see her with evil daggered eyes?

5. Still a bitch to Kira when they arrived at Orb. Especially when Kira's reasons were different. Even though it's what she thought, she still had no idea and just made herself feel better by blaming Kira.

6. Maybe she did change, but it was already too late. Not only to Kira, but for others around her as well. This includes Sai. He was obvious depressed and had every right to be angry at her. Wait... she didn't change then, but she tried to kill a co-ordinator (Dearka) because of Miriallia's moaning for Tolle, but the fact is she just wanted to kill him cause he's a co-ordinator. Miriallia wanted to kill him because she thought he killed Tolle and he provoked the current status of her emotions. Next thing you know, she compares herself to Miriallia. >=0!

I'd write more, but it's night from where I'm at. I will admit one fact that makes her good for the series, everything she's done (5% liking) to make the series more intense and heart beating, especially in point 6. When Miriallia stoipped Flay from shooting Dearka, it was so intense! Cause I didn't want to loose such a characther. We already lost Tolle and Nicol, then what? See what I mean?! I didn't want to loose anymore characters. Though it had to be done, its still sad :( Oh, and I have nothing to say about her dead, though it didn't effluance TOO much in destiny.

I did not like her first, but then, I liked her more than Lacus. As Gressini already said.
Well, she would have been great, I liked her looks, but her personality was just a bit too sick at some times. I am really sad they did not give her a chance to become better and end up as Kira's girlfriend.

I used to dislike her... at the beginning when she was just a spoiled and selfish girl. But her evolution was interesting and unusual... and quite believable too.

Even if she was prejudiced, I believe that most of us have some kind of prejudices (but stronger or weaker : it may be just some kind of cliches like : these people like money, or these other get angry easily ). But it's said the best way to make prejudices disappear is to interact with the people.

I had a hard time following Lacus's one, it's more like she suddenly changed of personnality.

That's why I really like more and more Fllay and I cried when she died.

Hate...maybe. She has an interesting character, but I don't like her personallity. With Lacus, is a boring character I agree, but I like her personallity better than Fllay. =0

yeah, I totaly agree ! I couldn't have said it better myself. All she wants is to see Kira suffer. She makes him have strong emotions towards her and then messes with his mind, enjoying the view of poor Kira suffering. This gets me :angry: (just look at my avater, signature and userpage; I guess that explains enough)

I hate her because I like her. Sounds contradictory yes? Well, actually I think Flay's character was fleshed out very well, enough to make me hate her for the manipulations on Kira. That means that the people behind the story in GS have done their job well in bringing the character to life.

the death of an evil character is always welcome, but one thing, they are always the ones with more character and spleen. without them the story would have been meaningless....
much like Shizuru of Mai Hime. her attitude is by far one of my favs!

Fllay's the most realistic character on the show. She was also half-insane when she decided to manipulate Kira (her dad did blow up right in front of her). She suffered, lashed out, changed, and then died. I feel sorry for her.
