Who else likes this show, i've noticed a suprising amount of disdain for it. I think its random subplots are just hilarious, with Menchi and Pedro's tales cracking me up every step of the way.

I really like the character designs for the show, especially Excel. And who doesn't like and feel sorry for Menchi? But overall, I find the show very difficult to watch. Part of it is probably because I am not familiar enough with some of the stuff they are making jokes about. So I don't watch the show anymore. Too hard to follow.

I loved that show! - true, its as insane as hell and almost impossible to follow, but all the anime in-jokes, theatrical in-jokes, general in-jokes were so funny and appealing! They ripped anime conventions left and right!

Try watching the follow-up Poeni Poeni Poemi. Now THAT ws insane and hillarious!
