i was looking at my hand and thought...is our bodies really that beautiful...people say that we are beautiful and stuff...but what happens if you actually see jus a regular hand on the table or sumpthing...would it be creepy eventhough our bodies and body parts are beautiful?

No it is and was common. I bought an antique hand for a friend. It was very elegant and graceful and ceramic and is meant to put your jewelry on.

Girls bodies are beautiful regardless and always. ...er ... um.... but other wise I think the body is a beautiful thing (even if it has it's uglier side) because of how wonderful it is. The simple hand can do remarkable things like paint and play the piano or a guitar or type etc. etc. It is a true wonder of nature. If you take each part separately and analyse it well, that item is remarkable. Esp. if it belongs to a female. I'm getting older now and I'm becoming less picky about what looks good. It is obvious to me that there are a staggering amount of beautiful people out there. I think you might be the worst judge of yourself as well.

i also thought about horror films...like body parts in a room and stuff...why would you scream if a finger was on a floor since we humans are beautiful...would you pick up the finger?

seeing arbitrary body parts lying around tends to indicate death, and therefore danger. In order to keep us away from the danger, we are repelled by that stuff.

If I saw a dead man who died peacefully on the bed, I can't say that I'd touch him, no matter how he looked. I just simply wouldn't touch a dead body.

I think beauty is definitely from within. Physical beauty is definitely something that dominates our world today, but that's just the natural animal part of us that is attracted to it. The part that makes us human is that we look beyond that and love more than just the physical features.

As for parts of the body being beautiful as a decoration. . .ehh. . I think models or drawing are nice, but I would just want a body part just lying there. . . it's seems so unattached and desolate.

Heh, don't be so sure of yourself. Some people think just a hand cut off on a table is beautiful. Haha, psycho.
OX i think we look beautiful but only beacause we're... how do i say it... one piece? I mean just an eyeball isn't beautiful (well not to me) but when you have an head to put it in and eyelids, eyelashes, its like all together, our oh so many parts make us beautiful. So when someone is missing an arm or something it comes off as ugly.
Thank god for my five fingers and toes, as well as the other things i'd miss if i lost it :nya:
