Who here owns Soul Caliber 3? Other than me that is....
This game is the first Soul Caliber game to have a section where you actually partake in a war. They still have the part where you play throuh each characters story. You can create your own character and customize them with items you have or unlocked. You can also play through a world tournament. The game is over-all awesome. Hell yes!

I haven't got the game yet, but how does the war section work. Is it a full interaction story or something else?

Basically it tells you the objectives then you tell your people which stronghold to attack and with decisive battles and encounters you do a battle sequence like normal Soul Calibur and you play as a created character. It's fun.

it's just a tupid add-on, basically you just move your cahracter to a stronghold, they will hit it until the stronghold is destroyed, and then you have a fight scene. Definitely not worth it.
On the other hand the create a character thing is pretty great, you could really made a great char, my friend succesfully made an auron and kosmos.
Overall soul calibur 3 is better than SC2, and i love the way they tweaks with taki and talim, they're much-much more powerful now.

Namco said that they were going to expand the single-player this time. They were going to wait until the next generation consoles to consider online gameplay.

Yeah... but nevertheless, it's still a pretty cool game if you just enjoy all it has to offer.

I didn't care for this game at all, I saw a huge difference from the previous versions. It really sucked that my save got corrupted also.

How in the heck did your save get corrupted?! Wow! That friggin' sucks! But yeah Mitsurugi was kinda not as good as he was. It sucks but still. They also added alot of good stuff.

I owen soul caliber 3 and I realy like it. It is a lot better than soul caliber 2(with i owen).
