This has been bugging me for a while. I mean, all signs points to Ninian but if it's Ninian, that would make Roy half dragon thus he shouldn't age that quickly. Anyone who can clarify this would be appreciated.

Ninian has gone to another dimension FYI. There is no announced mother for Roy, but it could be Lyn, or any of the other girls Elliwood likes to support with. Remember, Rath has a daughter, so Rath could possibly be with Lyn.

Ninian stays in Elibe with Eliwood and becomes his wife if they have A support but any of the girls that Eliwood can support with, he can marry if you get them to A support. This means it can be either Fiora, Lyndis, or Ninian. Fire Emblem- Rekka no Ken basically left it open for debate who Roy's mother was so it might not even be these three people.

Roy's mother dies of an illness early in his childhood, so all signs point to Ninian, as she would die quickly if she stayed in Elibe for too long. And yes, Roy can use the Sword of Seals even though he is a quater mamkute...

Ninian is only half mamkute I think. Nergal is her pops.

@.@ Nergal is her pops? Nergal summoned Ninian through the dragon gate. Ninian is full dragon. I do agree that Ninian best fits the case to Roy's mother's illness though.

Don't forget that Lyn and Fiora aren't in the Sealed Sword either. So it is possible that it was them too. I'm not saying that it isn't Ninian but rather that you can't say that Ninian is the only option there is that is possible.

I think Ninian's the most logical mother of Roy, since Ninian can only hold A conversations with 2 guys---Eliwood and Hawkeye, and there's a super-special ending if Eliwood and Ninian end up together (which did happen in my game).

Since I haven't tried A conversations with Eliwood pairing with another girl, I can't say for sure. But I do believe it's supposed to be Ninian since that special ending really convinced me (plus...Roy resembles his "uncle" Nils, dontcha think?! XD)

It all depends on who Eliwood supports to L3. Whichever girl he talks to, thats who he ends up with. But I think in the game Ninian might be his mother.

Yup , as for my game , i got Eliwood with Fiora , Lyn for Hector and Ninian go back to her world lolz . Then Roy still born , no matter who his mother is

i have to agree, Roy's most logical mother would be Ninian.

a bit off topic: Hector can end up with Lyn, Florina or Farina. he may be able to end up with Fiora too but i have yet to get those 2 at A support level to find out.

Well you are correct in the fact that all signs point to Ninian as Roy's mother. Perhaps, because of his mixed blood, he can age as normally.

they don't say since its open ended in FE7. But since 6 came before 7, they made it that way in 7 so there wouldn't be a plot hole.

Hector + Florina = Lilina
Lyn + Rath = Sue

makes sense right? I mean, Roy looks like his father and Ninian, Lilina looks a lot like Florina and Rath and Lyn make sense as sue's parents.

Ninian is Roy's mother and Lyn is Lilina's mother. Although there are different endings depending on which units you get A-supports with, the two I mentioned above are the only two that unlock a song in the sound room. Also, these couples seem to be the most logical b/c if Eliwood loved Ninian as much as he said he did w/o any support conversations, then he wouldn't be likely to fall in love with another girl (even if he did, he would probably shout out Ninian's name during s*x, and that would lead to an ugly situation). Back to Hector and Lyn: again, the storyline makes the most sense here (unless you get Lyn and Florina's A-support) b/c if Lyn were to marry Hector, Ostia and Caelin would probably combine. Sorry if this sounds toolish, but the schoolyear is coming up...

You can decide it. At the end of FE7 you just need an A-lever support with a girl and Eliwood. I think it`s Ninian.

Well, I haven't played FE 6 but I'm pretty sure Ninian isn't Roy's mother. If she was, then Roy'd be half dragon and then dragons and humans would co-exist or whatever. Dragons would be a big deal if Ninian and Eliwood got together and gave birth to Roy. There would be mentioning of whether or not the dragons and humans agree with the marriage in FE 6.

Again, it's open ended, we don't know who Roy's mother really is.

Actually, there's a secret in FE7 that confirms that Nergal is Ninian' and Nil's estranged father. Add to that the fact that Nergal is as old as Athos (and Renault almost as old as them), it seems extremely likely.

If you manage to meet the requirements for this ending, you'll get to see a special cg of Nergal with his dragon wife.
