hm, if you're taking it like that, well yeah, there's no real Freedom in this world...
maybe "freedom' was some sort of an illusion or something, it didn't really exist, but people think it exist.
i don't think you can freely like the way you wanted, coz in the end, you'll end up something that isn't what you "wanted"

freedom to steal, rob a bank or store.

For me personally, life is all about rules and law.
Law and rules that does'nt oppress.
Thats where the sweetness of freedom came in.
Freedom to think, to live life, to work, raise a family and religion.Lawless Society will cause chaos and confusion for the youth.

im just a 14 year old teenager but "what is worth living for?"
my answer is, that i dont really know, i guess, making the most of your existence, sumtimes i get shocked by thinkin of how im alive, i exist and how fragile and complcated it is to exist. Wen i think of that i dont want 2die, i want 2 live as long as i can(is it more than just instinct?).iget annoyed at my 'challenges' and ask 'why, why me?' (i can b so selfish, selfabsorbed) but theres a part of me that is aware that this or that has 2 happen, otherwise, there is no point 2 my life.
Me:what is worth living for? Well, finding something to live 4, thats my answer.
freedom? freedom, well, sum1 probably has worded it better than i can ^ - ^
ps.i hope that i havnt wasted anybodyz time.

There was a simple silly fantasy book a read a while back that cynically claimed that humanity has only one real form of history.
"Children are Dying." Without cause, or purpose. Without even a shred of sense or reason. In Iraq, in Dafur and any place our species exists without the sense to value lives over empty expansionist ideals and a hypocritical adherence to empty gods. I would claim that those children dying probably would prefer not to die for a deity that does not exist, or a future they will never see.
Here is an idea! Why not make it your 'point' to prevent some of the suffering in the world? There are few other things that could possibly an end unto themselves and I recommend peaceful means rather than chest thumping stupidity. Or you could join the Emo kids and whine about how tough this world is and that you only have an internet connection....

is u think that there is no point in life u r probably not making anything productive with urself... so here is a thought, why not making urself important to the people around u... that way u have a reason to live... make friends with good people, make bad people turn to good.... HELL, u can even make a life helping old ladies cross the road... because then u would be meaningfull to the old ladies and the purpose to ur life would be helping them (not a very bright prespective of the future but still a noble one :) )...
there are lots of reasons out there... u just need to find them.......... XP

Personally, my only reasons for living is to help others(Not just like helping an old lady across the street but actually to save lives) and to help other people to help humanity..
I mean there are so many people out there that are worse off than me.. So why should I sit and complain that I was made fun of today at school when there are kids who wish they had a school to be made fun of in..

Freedom is the opportunity for you to improve your life and make it worth living in any way that you see fit.
I live for the joy of my senses and the wonder that they can dredge from the world. I live for the few lovely people that I know. I live in the knowledge that if I bother, my life will improve and flower more and more
I think you are making a mistake telling me that there is no point to my life. This is your problem so don't accuse the rest of the world because you haven't worked it through yet.
In all seriousness, you haven't lived any of the important bits of your life yet (relative to the whole picture). You just wait and see what a rollercoaster ride you have waiting for you. You will probably wonder wtf you were talking about with this thread.

Sometimes idle thoughts such as these are not worth lamenting. I think you'll find yourself in a confused and uncomfortable spot. Most younger people that are growing up have a lesser sense of identity. Once you find something that's worth living for such as: knowledge, love, or the search for truth, then you'll understand it better. Also something like cancer which struck me earlier this year will give you a better understanding of why you want to live, it forces you to question your existence and find an answer. Otherwise the only other option as other people have put it is die.
Anyways nevertheless I'm in remission and I love life, contrary to before where life seemed to have more pitfalls.
