i noticed that everyone in the whole entire world has a religion and they all have the word "GOD".
WHY?
some religion say there's only ONE god. others say there are millions of gods. then there are people that say that
everyone has there own god.
what do you think?
which one is true to you?
and why does everyone have a religion and they all have the word "GOD"?

in reply to your question, i find this answer pointless, because simply religion=god, whether the number is multiple or singular, it would only mean one thing, an idolized image for worship and devotion towards at.
why have the word god? because simply there are many ways to use the word God, it is also a three letter word and everybody understands it, "Shen", "Kami", "Shin", "God", "Sei", "Ang Kong", "Dewa", "Mahakuasa"..etc...are all forms to describe a godly being, in english, i am sure there are others like Alpha and Omega, The One, God, Deity, Almighty.
Why there is one god or many god greatly differs according to the religion and the people of the times, people beleive what they wanted to beleive and people create them for believing. is that good enough as an answer?
well for starters, some religion worship many gods because there is many aspects of their life unfuilfilled, there are needs and wants, so specific gods are worshipped hoping to fulfill those aspects of needs.
Some are more novelty based perhaps, others with a specific way of describing them, much like Marduk, an actual "god" that was said to dwell as human, according to some source truth or not i am unsure, it is said that a man, aged young 21 or so, is poured with liquid gold while alive, entraping inside and suffocated in gold and the purpose is to allow "god" Marduk to go into the body of the human vessel, this then made the human become a statue, and thus carried out on the worshipping day to be paraded among the worshippers.
Millions of gods like those of a diverted Taoism is mainly spawned by poor peasants who have long worshipped certain heroes in novels and stuff. They are very powerful in influence when there is nothing else that brings particular interest, therefore, the people will worship these fictionous icons and over the ages, eventually develop millions as more and more added to the content. Note that Taoism was once a pure religion that based itself on equal trading , much like alchemy where everything has a equal of the opposite, black and white, yin and yang, male and female, which was what it originally is.
What do i think, i think this has to determine on personal faith, i am agnostic, i believe there are gods rather than god, it is more like, i place my faith everywhere. no matter how or no matter when. I had a religion passed down by my family as Buddhist, but i find myself more christian, yet i always pray in a buddhist temple, however i may find christianity a satisfying religion and interesting one.
therefore, i have no true devotion.

Quote by angel-typei noticed that everyone in the whole entire world has a religion and they all have the word "GOD".
Not everyone has a religion. Unless you count atheism amd agnostism as a religion. Also they do not all have the word God. Such as Allah or Jehovah. "God" is simply what humans call this deity or dieties.
I personally believe that there are no gods. There is no God, no Jehovah, no Allah, no Kami, no Buddha, no Shiva, no anything. God does not exist except in the minds of people.
If you like to believe in God all the better for you. But if you don't believe in GOd all the better for you too.

As devildude said, God is just a general all-encompassing term for "deity." Your god, my god, their gods, etc.
Kinda like "gun." My gun might be a S&W and yours might be a Desert Eagle, but theyre all guns.Anyhow, my outlook on religion goes somewhat like this:
Religions are just deviations of one exact "truth." People have interpreted it different ways, and so people each have their own religion. If you look deeper into each one though, you will find similarities, such as belief in a power(s), some type of afterlife, rules/commandments for doing good. This leads me to believe that all religions were just regional interpretations of a universal human belief, whether or not all humans know it.We all want GOOD. (hence rules/commandments) Do not argue that some people want evil, because they don't. People may want to rape, but what they're actually looking for is pleasure that comes from rape. That pleasure is, in itself, good.
We all want to know that we've lived for some REASON. (hence an afterlife) Many people may not know it, but they want a reason to live, whether it be love, money, or just the day-to-day occurences that make living worthwhile.
We all want the "bad man" to be PUNISHED. (hence god) We want those who have wronged us to feel a recoil of some type, whether it be physical "reimbursement" or mental anguish/guilt. A god(s)'s final judgment would provide something like that.Though i believe this, i don't really believe in any religion or "god," per se. However, I do not know how the universe came about. Either it was created, or it always was. I also couldn't care less which one it is, since knowing won't affect what I do in my life. I will make my own rules, I will give myself a reason to live, and I will dish out my own vigilante punishments.

Well, uhm, GOD don't alwuys mean RELIGION. But GOD does mean god - the omnipotent, omnicognant diety.
If you want to argue names - In the Hebrew "our" God is called El. Meaning simply "god". Or Elohim. Meaning "gods". Plural. Hence the statement in Deuteronomy 6:4: Hear therefore, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord. In the Hebrew it can be literally translated to "Yahweh our gods (elhohim) is one (or the first) Yahweh.
Yahweh is supposed to be His cultic name dating from before king Saul joined the 12 tribes. Other titles or names are El-Shadai (god of the hight/mountain), El-Rohi (god that sees me).
In Babylon they had a pantheon (many gods). Their word for god were "Ilu" as in "Bab (steps) Ili (of the gods)" - bab-ili - Babylon. But they never had a god with the name "Ilu". marduk was merely the head god of the pantheon.
The Greeks also had a major pantheon, but used only "Ho Theon" (Oh God) in the vocative - i.e. when they prayed. Same with the Romans - "O Deum".
The different Greek philosophical schools (c. 500 BC) came with the option that all gods were in fact one and merely presenting different aspects of the same god. So if you prayed to Demeter for a good harvest or Ares for a succesful war, you prayed in fact to the same god but to different representations of the diety.
This belief took a while to gain favor.
Just a note. Allah in fact does mean "god". It is etymologically related to El and Ilu - all of which means "god". In Aramaic it is Alah. O, and Jehova is in fact wrongly vocalized - in Hebrew it is written as YHVH and academics are unanimous that it should be read as Yahweh - Go check http://www.answers.com/yahweh and http://www.answers.com/topic/tetragrammaton?method=6
Life is a game played by gods who are bored and who fight over the rules.
