i heard a noise behind me. i quickly looked back. there was .nothing. nothing at all.
i looked back foreward. "BOO!" the masked stranger shouted in a whisper in front of my face. i
screamed..........
do you think you could add the next part. i thought it be intresting to see what people add onto the story. it could be
funny, serouse, lots of action.......and so on. :)
... and gave a kick to "him". To be fair enough, since I've spilled some of my hot coffee cup on my clothes, I throwed what was left at "him"...

"AHHHH! What the heck are you doooing?!" he flayed about on the ground writhing in pain from the swift kick and hot splattered coffee... and in horror I realized that it was the boy from class that I had a huge crush on!
I wanted to say that I was sorry... but I was so embarassed that I ran awy from him and hid...
The moment I was set free, I was dragged back into this nighmare again. The problem was... I didn't realize how much trouble I was going to be in this time...
With my back pressed up firmly against the tree I could feel my face flushed red, how could I be such a total dork? He was likely dressed up to go to the costume dance at school, and now... I groaned at my own stupidity.
Then I blinked. What the heck, is something pulling on the skirt to my school girl uniform? I glanced down...
It was an animal, a dog with some wings... so even dogs could wear costumes...

"Hey there doggie..." I reached my hand out to let it sniff me, it did not have a collar on and I wondered to myself if it was lost.
"I'm not a dog! I'm a dragon!"
Jerking back my hand I shrieked, did that dog just say that?! Was I losing my mind? Dumbfounded I stared at the dog-with-wings,
"I witnessed your great deffensive skills when being attacked, I believe I could use your assistance." it cocked its little puppy dog head at me.
"I... I..." I stammered.
"There you are!" a hand clutched my shoulder and I spun around, it was the boy from earlier, "What do you..."
Suddenly we were both engulfed in a strange orange glow... and spinning madly through a weightless vacuum of bright lights...

suddenly we both fell on the school garden. It had some beatiful flowers, that had a strong but soft smell.
"Are you ok?" asked Ryo (name of the boy, I had a crushed on) >.<
I couldn't find the words to say a simple "yes I'm ok. Are you?"
I keep looking at him, I felt my face turning red.
"I'm ... I'm ok" - a small pause between my deep breaths - "Are you ok?"
"Yeah, I'm fine"
He had fell on top of me, he was holding my arm tigthly but gentely.
"Your beatiful" Ryo said softly, I almost couldn't hear him....

I blinked, my head hurt as though beat with a baseball bat, "Wha... what?!" Something was squirming around under me, I sat up quickly, sending my head spinning.
Quickly looking down I felt my face grow even more red, "You pervert!" With that I scrambled back slapping Ryo across the face.
"Hey!" Ryo winced back, "I can't help it that you landed on me like that!"
My head was still spinning and throbbing in pain, trying to collect all of what had just occured. Taking in my new surroundings I realized that I must have been dreaming, silly to think that Ryo would be concerned about me like that! But... where the heck were we?...
I look around a familiar room, it's my room!
"Oh my god" I shrike. - "I'm late for school!"
I quickly do all the morning stuff and I run quickly down stairs.
Where my parents were looking at me awkwardly.
"You weren't planing to get up, Serena" said my dad reading his paper. (And Serena is my name)
I just gave him an annoyied look an grab my breakfast.
I ate some toats while waitting for the bus.
After maybe a minute the bus got there, and I look over to look for my best friend Vanessa.
She waves at me to come sit next to her, she always safes me a spot!
"So .. you have your Science project ready, for today's presentation?" she said.
"What , wah, wah" I said looking in my small backpack
"Ohhh no!" I shriek .....
So I hoped that something happened, anything...
Where was this dog-like dragon or dog pretending to be a dragon where you needed it ? Wondered if it's a he or a she...
I shook my head. What did I think to this dream ? Focus. Even it seemed so real and Ryo... Focus, Science Project. I had an hour break before my presentation, so I could go to my home...
Vanessa was quite sceptic of my plan but when she was saying its flaws to me (it's too far away, even if I can run that long, I will be too tired, if someone notice my disappearance...), I noticed some policemen in front of the school. What happened ?
Ryo had disappeared...

Ryo rubbed his stinging face, what was up with that girl anyway, was she some sort of freak? Not to mention all the crazy stuff going on. This was so not his day.
A cold breeze brought his thoughts back to the present and he quickly looked around, hadn't he just been in some girl's room a second ago? The trees around him were huge, ancient, and gnarled, did such a forest exist?
"Oh no, oh no!" a squeaky voice came from behind, "I got the wrong one!" (doggie-dragon)
"Who..." but when he turned to see who had spoke only a puff of orange sparkling lights remained floating off in the wind.

In an unknown place, Ryo wasn't sure what to do. Stay here and hoping that someone would come to bring him back or explore ?
After five minutes of looking around, he got bored and decided to see if there were someone around. And walking in a forest couldn't be dangerous, couldn't it ?

...back at school...
Serena nervously chewed on the end of her pencil.
"Don't do that! Its gross!" Venessa poked her arm from across the isle, "Whats with you today? You're totally out of it, something wrong or something?"
"I..." I started to reply when Mrs. Goto our science teacher placed herself between us.
"Talking in class again Ms. Wanatabe?" She looked down at me over her thin reading glasses, "If you wish to talk so badly, then get ready to present your project to the class, its your turn next."
I quaked inwardly in fear. Oh lord, what do I do?! I didn't have time (as Venessa had told me) to throw something together before class and now...
"Ms. Wanatabe, we're waiting." Mrs. Goto crossed her arms.

I was nervous as I never was.
I quickly got some papers out of my backpack (pretending to be the project), and stood infront of my class.
Now I was getting dizzy. I got stage-fright, "no, not now" I thouhtg to myself.
And a great idea struck in my head. "What if I pretend I faint!" I was thinking.
"Ms. Wanatabe, anytime now you can begin your presentation" Mrs. Goto said across the classroom.
Right there and now I had to fake it (faint) ....
... and so, I pretended to faint. I heard scrambling and laughing around me. Mrs. Goto was shocked; you can tell by her voice.
She suddenly ran to the nurse's office, leaving me, lying on the ground, shocking and surprising people. I peeked open my eyes to see if Ryo was there, but he wasn't.
"I wish he could see this... he might've helped me..." I thought. I imagined him helping me up, and carrying me to the nurse's office.
But I suddenly remembered the dream. Was it really the dream? It felt really real, like it wasn't real at all... all I could remember before I woke up was... a puff of orange smoke...
But this doesn't explain Ryo's disappearance at all. No, not at all. "There, please pick her up!" Mrs. Goto said, pointing at my body.
The nurse sounded shocked when she saw me. She just lifted me up to a stretcher and put me to the clinic. "Oh dear, she must've had a little stage fright..." the nurse whispered.
But then, when I opened my eyes, I saw myself lying down in the nurse's office/clinic. "I must've slept." I thought. Then, I saw beside me, the dragon-dog.
"A dragon-dog! Hey, I saw you in my dream..." I said. "Don't be marvelled at me right now, I need your help! Do you remember the guy in your dream?" he asked.
"Oh, you mean Ryo, yes... I know him..." I blushed, knowing it wasn't a dream after all. I still wondered why I woke up in my room the next day...
"Come with me. This Ryo guy sure needs your help." he said as he covered me with a puff of orange smoke. And "poof!" I was at some garden.
I looked at a familiar shadow. "R-ryo?"

"BOO!" out Ryo came from the shadow.
I jumped and unconciously slapped him... Again? He groaned and held his cheek. Ryo stared at me why I have slapped him again. I was flushing.... Again?
"Why did you do that for?" Ryo rubbed his cheek.
"So, this is the correct one?" said a voice from nowhere.
I glanced around the surrounding. I was in a rose garden. It was quite dark as it was night. The dog-dragon was nowhere to be seen.
"Yes," replied another voice from nowhere. I could recognize that voice. It belonged to the dog-dragon.
"Finally, let's start the party..."
Suddenly a large castle was illuminated behind me at the front of the rose garden, I could now see tall sculptures and fountains along the solid stone pathway to the castle's entrance.
"Ryo... whats going on?" I instinctively moved towards him and found myself in his arms. Now I'm really going to faint I thought dizzily to myself.
"Heck if I know," he seemed as flustered as I was to be holding me, "I was in this forest and..."
"Pardon my intrusion," a tall figure emerged from behind one of the statues, he wore a long velvet black cape with a hood covering his features, "It is time for your grand entrance M'lady." He held his hand out to me and I found myself cowering back into Ryo's arms even more. Who was this creepy guy, and what was he talking about?
"Not until you tell us what is going on here." Ryo demanded sternly, causing my heart to skip a beat, was he deffending me?

"don't worry" the stranger said."i will explain everything on the way." he walked in front of us.
"where" i asked.
he looked behind us and gave us a glare......
and as he walked, i tried hard not to stare at his back, fearing a reprisal of his serious stare that pierces my soul.
He walked slowly, as if floating on the floor, barely making a sound with his featherlite steps...He whispered to himself, "where can we go now...?"
I wanted to ask him if i may suggest somewhere quiet, where the people will not see us as weird, dressed in a way that the people are different from us. Somehow, that air of sternness has not left him, as he walked silently, he hummed a tune "Hotel California"...
I was still afraid of this fearful stranger, i do not know his name, what he wanted to say, what would he have to reveal to me, I can only guess, and each moment of guessing can only overly make his thoughts more malicious, though he seemed silent, i was thinking, what could he be thinking...
My feet and hands trembled, partly of the cold that surrounds us, and partly from the anonymous fear i felt as i followed him into a desolated part of the forgotten city, that lay in ruins...
This place was once beautiful, like heaven, they say, a poor and neglected ruin now after the government has let go of
the area...
Just stepping into the place already strike me a sense of insecurity, i can only follow, and my mate, all this time,
silent as i am, quietly taking careful steps to catch up from behind me...

The Legacy Breathes... once more, slowly a pulse drawn from within...
Ever further away from the castle, which after a quick glance I noted was also crumbling, we followed the strange dark figure. His humming was an odd contrast to my feelings and to this land which resembled nothing of back home. The people we did see off in the dark appeared reluctant to get too close, though stared at us as though we were some sort of exotic display. Our blue school uniforms standing out from their drab brown and grey rags.
Then suddenly he stopped. So startled I jerked to a halt as well, Ryo stumbling into me from behind nearly knocking us both over.
"This is where..." the stranger seemed to hang suspended in the air as his words hung in our ears, "This is where we last saw the one that would save us, this is where we were told to bring her."
I glanced around the area, it looked no different from the rest of the rubble, idly wondering what exactly we were doing.
"You." his searing gaze met mine and I felt my blood run cold, "Come here, stand near this pillar, we must perform the ceremony..."
Ceremony? All I could think of was being sacrificed to some weird God and before I could think I blurted out, "No!"

The stranger grabbed me by my arms. He or she dragged me to the pillar. I struggled but I could not free myself. The stranger was rather strong despite how he looks like. The stranger pressed me onto the odd looking pillar.
"What are you doing?" I blurted.
The stranger let out a wail and screamed in reply. I blinked blankly at the stranger. Slowly, the stranger released me. The stranger turned his back to me.
"Get away from her!" Ryo yelled at the stranger.
The stranger glared angrily at Ryo. I could even feel it with the hood shadowing his face. He conjured a flame in his hands and was about to launch it at Ryo...
"Wait!" I screamed.
He didn't mind my warning so I had nothing to do but to block Ryo. There, I stood, recklessly facing certain death. "Don't do this to him!" I said, my voice shaking in fear.
"But he is an interruption! And all interruptions must be banished... FOREVER!" he yelled.
"You can do anything you want with me, as long as you don't kill him or hurt him..." I looked down, tears dripping in my eyes. Did I just say that?
What if he just wanted me because of lust? I blushed. He continued to drag me to the pillar, then he began chanting strange words.
I just stood there, trying to figure out what he was doing. But suddenly, the dog-dragon showed up from behind the bushes.
"Don't break free... this will help you remember your past..." he whispered. "What? What do you mean by 'past'?" I replied, raising an eyebrow.
But before the dog-dragon could reply, a bright, orange light suddenly surrounded me. The ground began to shake, but it seems like I'm the only one who could feel it.
Then... I saw...
