as a girl, i think i'd be nice to anyone that's nice to me in return.she isnt necessarily interested.and best friend is not equal to boyfriend.keep that in mind.

i say just carry on with your friendship and take it as it comes.if you feel that she's still dropping hints and you're willing to risk the stable fiendship then go and confess

i think you should confess but then she says that your her best freind. sometimes guys get a little carried away when it comes to girls. i was a best friends with a guy once and it turned out he thought i was his girl friend. i found that out by mistake and it ruined our friendship. he wasn't my type just a best friend type (you know what i'm saying? ;) )so it's kinda hard to say.

Well, I'm a girl and I like guys that take the initiative and go for it.

But you really can't decide by what people tell you.

Is this a girl who remembers ALL her friend's birthdays? Or just yours?

And while confessing it might be a good thing, do you really want to risk the relationship you have with her now?

And what if she says that she really likes you, but then the relationship doesn't work out? What then?

i say just wait it out and think about it first before you confess or not. she might be dropping you hints or it might just be her acting like herself. i personally wouldn't ruin a good friendship if it was only a gut feeling

<laughs> When they said that, they must've been trying to tell me something, because that's something I have trouble with myself. Anyways, I think you should go for it. If she's a true friend, your telling her how you feel shouldn't kill your friendship...so you have much more to gain than lose.

Try to approach it gracefully...it's a bit of a sticky issue, but a lot of things in life are. Look at it from the standpoint that she's not a mind reader, so you have to tell her what you're thinking. I'd stick to the basics: tell her that you really like her, you find her attractive and you want to spend more time with her and get to know her better. If she says OK, you're in. If she turns you down - even though you may be dying inside - just smile and say, "I understand. I just wanted to let you know what I was thinking." And just let the conversation drift back to normal things...unless she wants to talk more about it. Sometimes handling the situation with grace can lead to her sharing her doubts and fears about the situation with you, and then you can address them. But even if it doesn't, handling the situation well help dispel any discomfort she may feel (unless they're truly mean, NO ONE enjoys rejecting someone) and keep your friendship intact. AND, it'll also give you more confidence for next time. ^_^

tekkzero: of course you risk your friendship by confession to her. i've been in this situation before. this girl is pretty, cute and very nice to me ( and i have no idea if she was nice with others too ) so one day i confess to her and hugs her. she just smiling at me without saying any words..then tommorow, she began to stay away from me and my friendship with her was completely broken.
thats why, do a triple check if that girl aslo have a feeling on you...if you're not sure, dont do it. take your time. or else you'll regret it..
