i'm definitely a ?? at heart. i'd use the note, but not really for personal gain. most likely to achieve the ends Yagami Light worked for.

not to stray from the original topic, but i don't believe Light was inconsiderate or heartless at some others have said. in order to make changes, you have to cross the line between what's "good" and "bad". Light was a good person, he just didn't hesitate to do what he needed to do.

honestly, i wish the Death Note ending might have been different. i'd have liked to see Light's perfect world.

Cleansing this world is impossible, even with a death note. If only good people existed, eventually someone good will turn bad and the cycle will never end.

Instead, I would write my name in the death note, and the description of my death with be "dies in his sleep, without feeling any pain and any memory of his existence would be erased from the minds of all people in the world". This way people who knew me won't be hurt.
