The tea pot begining to whistle
telling me the water is ready
as the scent of fresh baked cookies linger in the air
With a mug of hot cocoa and marshmellows on top
i use a peppermint stick to stir it up
it begins to desolve while i sit by the window
and watch as the snow falls slowly
a warm cookie beside me and my mug in my hand
staring out at the wintery wonderland
