well the new year is coming and i've created this thread for member to put in their thoughts on how the year has been for them.maybe lessons that you've learnt, or great/sad memories....i'd also like this thread to be a place where we can remember year 2005 for what it is, not just another year in our lives.something like a memoir, and a place where sentimentality is rampant.sometimes we tend to rush through our day we forget what humanity means.

for me....

2005 has been a more lonely and trying year than usual, more emotional instability and also somewhat financially straining.but i think it's got good times too, like when i picked up graphic designing, and when my friends and i gather impulsively for a joke session...

as for lessons learnt - never, ever ever ever eat something spicy before doing excercise.it's painful. x_x

hummm.. lessons learned, I hope a lot of people read this... lol

ok, college is a waste of time unless you really love and can see where you will be completely... the goal/dream cannot fade or it will mess up your career intentions. sometimes you just get burned out from too much studying or doing the same thing over and over that you collapse inwards and cant handle the stress...

everyone in life is a salesperson, you sell ideas and you sell yourself everyday whether you know it or not. for example, in college you sell yourself by your grades, you are a ranked score... you want your friend to believe something, so you make your sales pitch to convince that you are right... if you apply it that way, things become clearer and you see the society in a new light.

money only goes so far, but your honesty is priceless... being honest and having people trust you is beyond expression, it is truly impossible to price. it feels like a stepping stone this year, the way life turned out in the end. it may seem like it goes downhill sometimes, but that is why you steer the rest of it uphill. it's much harder to climb a hill than it is to fall or run down it, duhh... but that's how life is...

it's been a real eye opener, going out there and interacting with tons of different people... 2005 has been an almost enlightenment.... i see your emotional instability issue and monetary problems, most of us have them.... at least that's what ive observed...

merry christmas everyone....

lessons learnt: break your own rules when necessary, because you can't stay the same forever/ trying things when you're my age is always a good thing anyways.
work is at its most annoying when it is not work that's getting you anywhere
anime is actually damn good...;)
some people who think theyre mature really just aren't.
small children are more annoying the older you get

LOL.well that sure was informative XD

some more lessons......well i obviously didn't learn much though i think i've grown.oh yeah.

don't try to please everyone, you'll only end up the one that loses.just be yourself with your opinion and if your friends can't take it then too bad for them.of course you have to be reasonable too.

2005 was the year i realised how much i hate music, as in performing, composing, deconstructing etc
also stopped listening to english music, and just started listening to HK music full time...havent heard a new english song in AGES
and also i realised this year has been the laziest ive been in my life, so maybe starting wing chun next year might get me unlazy..meh

lessons learnt:
-getting ur penis caught in a fly..really..really...really does hurt
-eating chilli hot roast beef noddles, then milo cereal then drinking orange juice, within 10 minutes is one of the worst thing for ur stomach, and it took me 3 times to come to that conclusion lol
-chinese medicine oil hurts more than muscle cream when accidently applied to the genitals
-chinese medicine oil makes it easy to stretch before excersising

i think one lesson i learned was: not everyone will like you so you should stop trying to make everyone like you.

this year was more of a sad, boring year. many deaths with my relatives and nothing good happen much. and i'm getting stupider in class and getting lazier so yep...nothing new. just like any old year that i've had.

Huh? Well, since the new school year started, it has been my best year of life! I still havne't learned how to stop arguing with my mother though... ~_~

Hm...lessons I learned:
*never ever put cookies in the printer! EVER!
*Don't chew your pens/pencils...
*Teachers have eyes like a hawk so don't chew gum in class...

But other than that, I've had a pretty good year...
